Wednesday Walk. The Pains, Anguish And Price For A New Bridge

This is my first post for the Wednesday walk challenge .

Been reading many interesting post from different community members from all over the world and they are truly beautiful to see.

So today I am going to show you what's happening in my neighbourhood, as I take a long stroll.

It has been a rather busy day.

The Government is building a new bridge in my neighbourhood so as to ease traffic. The road leading out has become small and always congested,causing a lot of traffic during rush hour.

Construction for the new bridge started on Monday. This evening I decided to take take a stroll along the road and see for myself how everything is going.

The scenes were not too good. As you could see pains and anguish in people's eyes. Many have lost their homes and businesses, as so many buildings will be destroyed to make way for the new road and bridge. But then, there are prices to pay for everything.

The road is blocked for incoming and outgoing traffic

*vehicular traffic use to be crazy here but now deserted *

So many building will give way for the bridge

planning on buying some new electronics for the home next month. But the LG shop will be demolished 😔

**The neighbourhood eatery will give way. **

caterpillars resting, done enough damage for today, 😁

neighbourhood Bank will give way too. Will have to drive long distance for the nearest bank

one of the biggest church will be demolished too

going back home, getting deserted

Been painful to witness all this destructions even if it is for a good cause. But then life goes on, no pain, no gain.
