FAMILY MEETING IN COLOMBIA /ENCUENTRO FAMILIAR EN COLOMBIA (ENG-ESP)

Hello! To all my friends in this community, today is a day filled with a lot of positivity. As I begin this new experience for me in this blog, thank you for the acceptance.
I would like to tell you that it will be a year since I traveled to Colombia. It was the first time I visited that country with my youngest daughter, where after six years separated from 3 of my children, we decided to make a reunion. One of my daughters came from Chile with her husband and my other two children are living in Colombia.

¡Hola! A todos mis amigos de esta comunidad, hoy es un día lleno de mucho positivismo. Al empezar esta nueva experiencia para mí en este blog, gracias por la aceptación.
Quisiera contarles que ya se va a cumplir un año desde que viajé a Colombia. Era la primera vez que visitaba ese país con mi hija menor, donde después de seis años separada de 3 de mis hijos, decidimos hacer un reencuentro. Una de mis hijas venía de Chile con su esposo y mis otros dos hijos están residenciados en Colombia.

We decided on Colombia because 2 of my children live there and it was more economical to make the meeting there than for them to travel to Venezuela, so with my youngest daughter we undertook a trip full of emotions.
It was a trip full of adventure because we left Venezuela by plane to Táchira, and then we took a cab to the terminal in Cúcuta, passing first through immigration to stamp our entry to Colombia.

Decidimos Colombia porque allí viven 2 de mis hijos y resultaba más económico hacer el encuentro allá a que ellos viajaran a Venezuela, así que con mi hija más pequeña emprendimos un viaje lleno de emociones.
Fue un viaje lleno de mucha aventura porque de Venezuela salimos en avión hasta el Táchira, para luego tomar un taxi que nos conduciría al terminal de Cúcuta, pasando primero por migración a sellar la entrada a Colombia.

Once at the terminal, we took a bus that would take us to our final destination which would be the city of Cali, touring through small towns and enjoying the scenery and food.
When we arrived at the terminal in CALI I was greeted by my daughter with her husband and my grandson, I cried, laughed, we hugged... in short, mixed feelings and emotions to see my daughter and my grandson after such a long time, from there we went to my son's apartment where he was waiting for us with my other daughter who had already arrived from Chile.

Una vez en la terminal, tomamos un bus que nos llevaría a nuestro destino final que sería la ciudad de Cali, haciendo recorridos por pueblitos y disfrutando de los paisajes y su comida.
Al llegar al terminal de CALI me recibió mi hija con su esposo y mi nieto, lloré, reí, nos abrazamos… en fin, sentimientos y emociones encontradas por ver a mi hija y mi nieto después de tan largo tiempo, de allí nos fuimos al departamento de mi hijo donde se encontraba esperándonos con mi otra hija que ya había llegado de chile.

It was a beautiful meeting to have them all together after so long, for me it was the best thing that was happening to me at that moment, it was unbelievable but true.
We spent days walking around, visiting places, sharing together, enjoying every moment to the fullest, telling things that we had lived each of their lives in their new experiences. We laughed, we fought and we enjoyed.

Fue un hermoso encuentro tenerlos a todos juntos después de tanto tiempo, para mí era lo mejor que me estaba pasando en ese momento, era increíble pero cierto.
Pasamos días de paseo, visitando lugares, compartiendo juntos, disfrutando al máximo cada momento, contando cosas que habíamos vivido cada una de sus vidas en sus nuevas experiencias. Reímos, peleamos y disfrutamos.

I spoiled them by preparing food that they liked and missed. I even prepared them a baked fish that they missed very much, since we are from the MARGARITA ISLAND and they used to eat a variety of fish and, although its taste is not the same, it was delicious. Obviously, here on the island fresh fish is consumed and it is very tasty.

Los consentía preparándoles comida que les gustaba y que extrañaban. Llegué a prepararles un pescado al horno que extrañaban mucho, ya que como somos de la ISLA DE MARGARITA solían comer diversidad de pescado y, aunque su sabor no es el mismo, me quedó riquísimo. Obviamente, aquí en la isla se consume pescado fresco y es muy rico.

We enjoyed family pool days playing with the grandson and my daughter who lives in Colombia. She revealed the sex of her second baby, which would be a girl. My first granddaughter in the family, what a joy we felt when we heard the news!
We celebrated and toasted to welcome a new addition to our family.

Disfrutamos de días de piscina en familia jugando con el nieto y mi hija que vive en Colombia. Reveló el sexo de su segundo bebé, el cual sería una niña. Mi primera nieta en la familia, ¡qué alegría sentimos al saber la noticia!
Celebramos y brindamos para darle la bienvenida a una nueva integrante para nosotros.

I also took advantage of the trip to visit an old friend who was a neighbor of where I lived in MARGARITA ISLAND. We went out to share a lunch and some ice cream, we spent an afternoon remembering pleasant moments that we had shared together and so we said goodbye until a new meeting.
I can not complain, I spent incredible moments with my children and I would give anything to repeat it again, besides enjoying with my grandchildren, to see them grow every day, to watch them and spoil them, they are my happiness.

Aproveché también el viaje para visitar a un viejo amigo que era vecino de dónde yo vivía en la ISLA DE MARGARITA. Salimos a compartir un almuerzo y unos helados, pasamos una tarde recordando gratos momentos que habíamos compartido juntos y así nos despedimos hasta un nuevo encuentro.
No me puedo quejar, pasé momentos increíbles al lado de mis hijos y daría lo que fuese para que se volviese a repetir, además de disfrutar con mis nietos, de verlos crecer cada día, para mirarlos y consentirlos, ellos son mi felicidad.

After a few days of sharing and enjoying my children, the moment I didn't want to arrive, the moment to say goodbye. It was a goodbye, with no date, with sadness, and with a wrinkled heart, I had to say goodbye to my treasures. One of my daughters would leave again to Chile and the others would stay in Colombia while I left for my beautiful MARGARITA ISLAND with my little daughter, where I would be waiting, my oldest daughter with my grandson and my new wonderful love.

Después de unos días de compartir y disfrutar de mis hijos, llega el momento que no quería, el de despedirnos. Era uno hasta luego, sin fecha, con tristeza, y el corazón arrugadito me tocó despedirme de mis tesoros. Una de mis hijas partiría de nuevo a Chile y los otros se quedarían en Colombia mientras yo partía hacia mi hermosa ISLA DE MARGARITA con mi hija pequeña, donde estaría esperando, mi hija mayor con mi nieto y mi nuevo amor maravilloso.

In those moments I realized that this life has beautiful things for us and that we must take it when it comes to us, that the family is the most valuable treasure that God gives us and we must enjoy them, that everything that one proposes in life with effort and perseverance everything is achieved and can be achieved. I have reached the end of my story, I hope you like it and I have not bored you. I am very happy with this new experience in this page, it will allow me to grow and strengthen the knowledge that is experienced here.

En esos momentos me di cuenta de que esta vida tiene cosas bellas para nosotros y que debemos tomarla cuando se nos presenta, que la familia es el tesoro más valioso que nos regala Dios y debemos disfrutarlos, que todo lo que uno se proponga en la vida con esfuerzo y perseverancia todo se logra y se puede. He llegado al final de mi historia, espero que les sea de su agrado y no los haya aburrido. Estoy muy contenta con esta nueva experiencia en esta página, ya me permitirá crecer y fortalecer los conocimientos que aquí se experimentan.
