Rescue Diary - Voodoo on the move
Poor little Voodoo has had a hard start to his life. He was abandoned to a shelter due to his deafness caused by her being an albino (health defects are common in many dogs that are albinos). Fortunately he was rescued and now was on his way to Northern California to start his new life.
Voodoo was (of course) a very curious little puppy and was quick to explore his new environment as we departed Holbrook heading west on the Interstate.

Nothing makes a rescue volunteer happier than when your precious little traveler gives you lots of puppy love and "kisses"

Since Voodoo is just a puppy she decided to amuse himself on the drive by doing what most puppies love to do - chew on something (namely one of my hats 😁). Oh well, glad to see him enjoying her freedom ride.
Love those beautiful albino blue eyes.

All the excitement of his voyage finally took its toll and it was time for a little nap time.

ZZZZZZZZZZZZ... I wonder what dreams are going through her head

As always our time together came to an end and it was time for Voodoo to meet a new driver and continue on the next leg of her journey.
Good luck my little friend.
Well, Voodoo made it safely to his new home in California the next day and it looks like Voodoo is settling in to his new home and his new family. I hope he has many happy years ahead of him.

I thought that I would share some of my stories of my involvement with transporting/helping out rescue animals (mostly dogs). This is something that I have been doing for the past 7 years or so.
No pay or professionals - just a bunch of great volunteers working together to help the less fortunate animals.
💖Happy stories that I hope you all enjoy💖

Here are some rescue organizations that I have worked with and support. Please help out these great people and seek out some of the many other rescue organizations - they always need our help.
