Ever-Hungry Skull 💀 Splinterlands

É extremamente importante saber lidar com as regras de combate do Splinterlands para criar as melhores composições possíveis, mas acima disso é necessário possuir as melhores cartas para cada condição de batalha. Isso fica óbvio conforme vamos subindo de liga e percebemos que a nossa coleção se torna cada vez menos competitiva quando enfrentamos oponentes mais poderosos.

Sabendo disso nós precisamos constantemente reavaliar nossa coleção e procurar novas cartas para amplificar a variedade de estratégias que nós podemos utilizar. Fiz essa introdução justamente para explicar o principal motivo de eu utilizar a carta Ever-Hungry Skull e nesse post eu irei mostrar em quais situações essa carta pode ser extremamente útil.

Esses são os principais leveis para o Ever-Hungry Skull e se torna muito mais interessante utilizá-lo a partir do level 6 para servir como uma proteção contra cartas com a habilidade Sneak. Se você joga em ligas menores que o ouro mas quer utilizar essa carta então saiba que a principal regra de combate para utilizá-lo com maestria são as Equalizer , Lost Magic e Weak Magic pois em todos os casos você resolverá o principal problema do Skull: sua baixa vida.

Se você pode utilizá-lo em leveis maiores então outras regras/habilidades poderão ser interessantes para combar com seu efeitos, sendo a principal delas a Amplify e outras regras que direcionem o tipo de dano que o oponente escolherá (como a já mencionada Lost Magic ou a Up Close and Personal ).

Se você estiver protegido com alguma dessas regras e posicioná-lo corretamente será possível reduzir muito potencial ofensivo do oponente e fazer suas unidades sofrerem bastante dano com o Thorns/Return Fire. Além disso há outro potencial muito interessante que o Skull pode proporcionar ao seu time: por possuir apenas 1 de vida ele é capaz de atrair atenção das cartas com Opportunity , dessa forma você poderá proteger cartas mais importantes enquanto o Ever-Hungry atrai esses ataques e ainda reflete dano contra seus oponentes.

Agora que já mencionei algumas das principais estratégias que beneficiam essa carta (lembrando que existem outras), que tal acompanharmos na prática a sua utilização? Cliquem na imagem caso queiram assistir a batalha completa e vamos fazer uma análise do uso do Skull durante esse exemplo.

Battle.

Observe esse combo de regras. Existem duas que combinam perfeitamente com o propósito do Ever-Hungry Skull e foi exatamente esse o motivo que fez ambos os jogadores pensarem em utilizá-lo. Essa carta será o alvo dos ataques de todos os oponentes e não haverá o risco de uma carta de dano mágico eliminá-lo rapidamente, isso garante que o Thorns será bastante efetivo.

A principal diferença entre as duas composições é que eu escolhi o Tower Griffin para amplificar ainda mais a proteção do Skull e o Octopider para causar dano ranged e servir como debuff para todos os inimigos. Ambas as cartas foram muito úteis principalmente o Octopider que conseguiu ser a minha principal fonte de dano contra os oponentes. Pouco a pouco cada ataque foi mitigando a vida das cartas do inimigo e eventualmente eles foram sendo eliminados pelos meus outros atacantes, quando enfim o Ever-Hungry Skull foi morto a maioria das cartas do time inimigo já haviam sido removidas.

Fazendo uma análise crua o Ever-Hungry Skull não parece ser uma carta muito boa, mas quando consideramos uma situação de regras que combinem então se torna muito mais interessante utilizá-lo. É por isso que precisamos sempre buscar maneiras de melhorar nossa coleção pois sempre haverão cartas úteis que aumentarão nosso Win Rate em determinadas batalhas. E falando sobre aumentar sua coleção o Ever-Hungry Skul é uma escolha muito barata para isso pois cada cópia dessa carta atualmente está custando $0,01 então para colocá-lo no level 10 você precisará desembolsar menos de $4,00!

It is extremely important to know how to deal with the combat rules of Splinterlands to create the best possible compositions, but above that it is necessary to own the best cards for each battle condition. This becomes obvious as we move up the league and realize that our collection becomes less and less competitive when we face more powerful opponents.

Knowing this we need to constantly re-evaluate our collection and look for new cards to amplify the variety of strategies we can use. I made this introduction precisely to explain the main reason why I use the card Ever-Hungry Skull and in this post I will show in which situations this card can be extremely useful.

These are the main levels for the Ever-Hungry Skull and it becomes much more interesting to use it from level 6 to serve as a protection against cards with the Sneak ability. If you play in leagues lower than gold but want to use this card then know that the main rule of combat to use it masterfully are the Equalizer , Lost Magic and Weak Magic because in all cases you will solve the main Skull problem: low life.

If you can use it at higher levels then other rules/abilities could be interesting to combine with its effects, the main one being the Amplify and other rules that direct the type of damage the opponent will choose (like the already mentioned Lost Magic or the Up Close and Personal ).

If you are protected with any of these rules and position it correctly it will be possible to reduce a lot of the opponent's offensive potential and make your units take a lot of damage with Thorns/Return Fire. Besides that, there is another very interesting potential that the Skull can provide to your team: because it has only 1 life, it can attract attention from cards with Opportunity , this way you can protect more important cards while the Ever-Hungry attracts those attacks and reflects damage against your opponents.

Now that I have mentioned some of the main strategies that benefit this card (remembering that there are others), how about we follow its use in practice? Click on the image if you want to watch the full battle and let's do an analysis of Skull's use during this example.

Battle.

Take a look at this rule combo. There are two that perfectly match the purpose of Ever-Hungry Skull and that is exactly the reason that made both players think to use it. This card will be the target of all opponents' attacks and there will be no risk of a magic damage card eliminating it quickly, this ensures that Thorns will be quite effective.

The main difference between the two compositions is that I chose the Tower Griffin to further amplify Skull's protection and the Octopider to cause ranged damage and serve as a debuff to all enemies. Both cards were very useful, especially the Octopider that managed to be my main source of damage against the opponents. Little by little each attack mitigated the life of the enemy cards and eventually they were eliminated by my other attackers, when finally the Ever-Hungry Skull was killed most of the enemy team's cards had already been removed.

Making a crude analysis the Ever-Hungry Skull doesn't seem to be a very good card, but when we consider a situation of matching rules then it becomes much more interesting to use it. This is why we must always look for ways to improve our collection because there will always be useful cards that will increase our Win Rate in certain battles. And talking about increasing your collection, the Ever-Hungry Skul is a very cheap choice for that because each copy of this card currently costs $0.01 so to get it to level 10 you will need to spend less than $4.00!
