Peacebringer Kicking *ss! ⚔ Splinterlands

Apesar de eu não utilizar com frequência as cartas de dano Ranged no Splinterlands, eu sei que o mesmo fato que as torna fraca pode ser interpretado como o ponto forte delas. Já que essas cartas não conseguem atacar da primeira posição, é comum que a maioria das cartas do time não possuam dano Ranged isso faz com que as pessoas passem à se preocupar menos contra esse tipo de dano. Além disso as cartas com Return Fire são muito mais raras do que as outras duas habilidades de refletir dano, tornando ainda mais difícil estar preparado para lidar contra esse tipo de dano.

Sabendo disso é possível usar esses fatos para explorar possíveis fraquezas do oponente, surpreendendo-o ao montar um time com muito dano Ranged que seja capaz de lidar contra os inimigos antes de chegarem à primeira posição. Vamos analisar essa batalha para acompanhar o quão impactantes foram as escolhas das minhas cartas contra o adversário.

Logo de cara é possível perceber que eu escolhi dois tanks com muita vida e habilidades para refletir dano contra os dois principais tipos de ataque. Infelizmente a regra Little League me impossibilitou de usar o invocador Grandmaster Rathe pois ele seria perfeito nessa disputa mas sem ele o meu time acabou ficando bastante vulnerável aos ataques mágicos. A ideia do meu time seria protegê-lo com bastante armadura e utilizar a Venari Crystalsmith para prolongar a sobrevivência dos Tanks, mas as cartas chaves dessa estratégia são a Time Mage e o Peacebringer.

Ao combinar um suporte capaz de remover as armaduras dos adversários com a habilidade Rust e uma carta com altíssimo dano Ranged meu objetivo seria limpar completamente os adversários na força bruta enquanto tentava manter a frontline viva. Essa estratégia funcinou perfeitamente, nós podemos perceber isso ao vermos que as duas habilidades do Failed Summoner não eram tão efetivas e ele foi rapidamente eliminado na primeira rodada. Apesar do meu tank ter conseguido usar seu Magic Reflect ele também foi eliminado deixando a quantidade de cartas em cada time empatada.

Na segunda rodada mais um tank inimigo foi eliminado e o principal motivo disso foi o alto dano causado pelo Peacebringer junto com a Crystalsmith. A vantagem numérica sempre estava ao meu favor e no momento em que o Peace realizou mais um abate a vitória se tornou garantida pois com apenas uma carta capaz de causar 2 de dano a Venari Crystalsmith já seria totalmente capaz de negar o dano com a sua cura.

Mesmo após receber os buffs da habilidade Martyr o Venari Spellsmith não conseguiu aguentar por muito tempo contra o ataque pesado dos meus arqueiros. O Peacerbringer é uma carta incrível por além de conseguir causar tanto dano possuir ótimas estatísticas de velocidade e vida por um custo de apenas 4 de mana. Essa carta com certeza foi o MVP dessa batalha por conseguir matar tão rápido os oponentes. E você, gosta de utilizar arqueiros em suas batalhas?

Although I don't often use Ranged damage cards in Splinterlands, I know that the same fact that makes them weak can be interpreted as their strength. Since these cards can't attack from the first position, it is common that most of the team's cards don't have ranged damage, and this makes people worry less against ranged damage. In addition, cards with Return Fire are much rarer than the other two reflective damage abilities, making it even more difficult to be prepared to deal this kind of damage.

Knowing this it is possible to use these facts to exploit possible weaknesses of the opponent, surprising him by assembling a team with a lot of Ranged damage that is able to deal against the enemies before they reach the first position. Let's analyze this battle to track how impactful my card choices were against the opponent.

Right off the bat it can be seen that I chose two tanks with lots of life and abilities to reflect damage against the two main attack types. Unfortunately the Little League prule revented me from using the summoner Grandmaster Rathe because he would have been perfect in this contest but without him my team ended up being very vulnerable to magic attacks. My team's idea would be to protect him with lots of armor and use the Venari Crystalsmith to prolong the Tanks' survival, but the key cards in this strategy are the Time Mage and the Peacebringer.

By combining a support capable of removing opponents' armor with the Rust ability and a card with extremely high Ranged damage my goal would be to completely wipe out the opponents in brute force while trying to keep the frontline alive. This strategy worked perfectly, we can see this when we see that the two abilities of the Failed Summoner were not that effective and he was quickly eliminated in the first round. Although my tank was able to use his Magic Reflect he was also eliminated leaving the amount of cards on each team tied.

In the second round another enemy tank was eliminated and the main reason for that was the high damage done by Peacebringer together with Crystalsmith. The numerical advantage was always in my favor and the moment Peace performed another cull the victory became guaranteed because with only one card capable of causing 2 damage the Venari Crystalsmith would already be fully capable of negating the damage with her healing.

Even after receiving the buffs from the Martyr ability the Venari Spellsmith could not hold out for long against the heavy attack of my archers. The Peacerbringer is an amazing card that can do so much damage and has great speed and life stats for a cost of only 4 mana. This card certainly was the MVP of this battle for being able to kill opponents so quickly. And you, do you like to use archers in your battles?

With all the fancy abilities and cards out there now, its surprising just how dominant peacebringer is still. I love that card. I'm been thinking about getting a maxed copy

I'm impressed with that too, he does the basics extremely well. The fact that he is level 4 helps a lot.
