Reason to be Proud ✍ Leofinance

Sempre existiram líderes na sociedade que inspiram e guiam as pessoas em prol dos objetivos comuns, e apesar de nem todos cumprirem esse papel como deveriam o fato é que essa função é extremamente importante e poucos conseguem chegar lá, é preciso ser confiável, orgulhoso, responsável e principalmente admirado pelas pessoas que te seguem. Ser um líder é uma responsabilidade enorme e você carrega o peso do grupo que você representa, portanto se você ocupa essa posição faça por merecer e dê orgulho às pessoas que se orgulham de você.
Apesar desse parágrafo geralmente retratar a raça humana, quem disse que leões também não se enquadram nisso? Para a próxima missão da Campanha de Adoção da Leofinance eu irei desenhar o Líder da Matilha, aquele leão que possui todas as características que mencionei anteriormente e esta não será uma tarefa fácil.
Foi difícil pensar no conceito que utilizaria para representar esse tema em um desenho. Primeiramente pensei em um Leão abraçado em sua família, depois pensei em um Leão dando autógrafos em um tapete vermelho mas enfim decidi fazer um meio termo entre conservador e exagerado. Todo desenho deve começar com o esboço e esse foi o meu.
A ideia é fazer um Leão líder discursando para seus seguidores. Depois de fazer os primeiros rabiscos eu aprovei esse conceito então refiz tudo para algo mais bonito (os dedos desse leão estão parecendo de um esqueleto 🤣).
Iniciei desenhando o palco elevado onde ficaria nosso orgulhoso Leão e depois acrescentei a bancada com o microfone. O próximo passo foi seguir a ideia já trabalhada anteriormente no leão de terno e desenhar nosso protagonista como um político carismático e cercado por seu público.
Após reforçar os traçados eu comecei a dar detalhes no que já havia sido desenhado. O Leão principal ganhou sua pelugem e o seu terno foi pintado dando destaque para as sombras feitas com a borracha. Um imponente ícone da @Leofinance foi estampado na bancada para todos saberem quem este orgulhoso líder representa. Ao longo do tempo mais pessoas foram "chegando" para acompanhar o discurso e as coisas começaram a ficar mais animadas.
Aqui veio o maior problema desse desenho. O nosso líder é grande e possui muitas pessoas que o admiram então eu precisaria desenhar um gramde público para assistí-lo discursar. Foi um árduo trabalho conseguir mesclar entre ouvintes detalhados e criar a impressão de multidão utilizando efeitos de sombra para isso. Utilizei vários níveis de escurecimento para dar essa impressão de multidão e coloquei uma "névoa" no fundo que acabei não gostando depois.
Eu gostei do resultado dos diferentes leões destacados que visam representar os vários níveis do Pride Rank (nome que será substituído em breve) e adicionei o detalhe da camisa com o símbolo da Zealy. Como disse anteriormente as sombras mais escuras visam representar o restante da multidão e o efeito de névoa foi para tentar disfarçar um pouco o cenário mas acabei não gostando do resultado então decidi apagar essa névoa e ver como ficava. Coloquei a borracha para trabalhar e...
bem melhor na minha opinião! A multidão continua lá acompanhando com animação e orgulho do nosso íncrível líder da matilha. Depois do desenho finalizado eu fiz o upload para o computador e editei um pouco a imagem para ficar mais bonito e detalhado os tracejados e o sombreamento, isso aumentou o nível de qualidade e o resultado ficou assim.
Eu ainda tentei remover o fundo e acrescentar um cenário mais adequado para essa reunião, então busquei a imagem de uma cidade cinza e fiz a edição no canva mas o resultado ficou horrível!
Mas vocês já ouviram a frase "menos é mais"? Pensando nisso eu decidi voltar em um dos passos anteriores do desenho e fazer o mesmo que eu fiz acima, jogar a imagem no computador e fazer o tratamento e depois remover o fundo branco para tentar criar um cenário cinzento de uma cidade metropolitana habitada por leões. Na minha humilde opinião o resultado ficou muito melhor e esse foi o meu resultado final!
A imagem ficou menos poluida e combinou perfeitamente com o background. Apesar deste ter sido o desenho mais difícil de idealizar e executar acho que consegui criar um desenho de um orgulhoso leão que anima os corações da sua matilha. E ai, o que vocês acharam desse desenho?

Being a leader is a huge responsibility and you carry the weight of the group you represent, so if you occupy this position deserve it and make the people proud of you.
Although this paragraph usually portrays the human race, who says leons don't also fit into this? For the next mission of Leofinance Adoption Campaign I will draw the Leader of the Pack, that lion who possesses all the characteristics I mentioned earlier and this will not be an easy task.
It was difficult to think of the concept I would use to represent this theme in a drawing. First I thought of a Lion hugging his family, then I thought of a Lion signing autographs on a red carpet, but finally I decided to make a middle ground between conservative and exaggerated. Every drawing should start with a sketch and this was mine.
The idea is to make a leading Lion giving a speech to his followers. After doing the first few doodles I approved of this concept so I reworked everything into something nicer (this lion fingers are looking like a skeleton 🤣).
I started by drawing the raised stage where our proud Lion would stand and then added the stand with the microphone. The next step was to follow the idea already worked on previously in suit lion and draw our protagonist as a charismatic politician surrounded by his audience.
After reinforcing the strokes I started giving details on what had already been drawn. The main Lion got his fur and his suit was painted giving prominence to the shadows made with the rubber. An imposing @Leofinance icon was stamped on the stand so everyone would know who this proud leader represents. As time went on more people were "arriving" to follow the speech and things started to get livelier.
Here came the biggest problem with this design. Our leader is awesome and has many people who look up to him so I would need to draw a large audience to watch him speak. It was hard work to blend in detailed listeners and create the impression of a crowd using shadow effects to do this. I used various levels of darkening to give this impression of a crowd and put a "haze" in the background that I ended up not liking afterwards.
I liked the result of the different highlighted lions meant to represent the various levels of Pride Rank (name soon to be replaced) and added the shirt detail with the Zealy symbol. As I said before the darker shadows were to represent the rest of the crowd and the fog effect was to try to disguise the scenery a bit but I didn't like the result so I decided to erase the fog and see how it looked. I put the eraser to work and...
much better in my opinion! The crowd is still there following with excitement and pride our amazing pack leader. After the drawing was finished I uploaded it to the computer and edited the image a little to make the strokes and shading more detailed, this increased quality level and the result looked like this.
I still tried to remove the background and add a more suitable background for this meeting, so I got the image of a gray city and edited it in canva but the result was horrible!
But have you ever heard the phrase "less is more"? Thinking about that I decided to go back to one of the previous drawing steps and do the same as I did above, throw the image into computer and do treatment and then remove the white background to try create a grey scene of a metropolitan city inhabited by lions. In my humble opinion the result was much better and this was my final result!
The image became less polluted and matched perfectly with the background. Although this was the most difficult drawing to create and execute I think I managed to create a drawing of a pride lion that cheers the hearts of his pack. So, what do you think of this drawing?
