"STANDARDIZED" VERSATILITY? - SPLINTERLANDS [PT-BR/ENG]

INTRODUÇÃO

Hoje eu estou me sentindo doente (resultado dos meus maus hábitos alimentares) e resolvi dar uma pequena pausa na minha sequência de postagens de Splinterlands do Review das novas cartas da edição Riftwatchers, então ao buscar por uma partida interessante que pudesse servir para criar algum conteúdo informativo eu percebi um padrão.

Mesmo que eu possua cartas alugadas de cinco splinters diferentes (Terra é a única excessão) e isso me forneça uma versatilidade enorme, no fim das contas essa versatilidade resulta em composições padronizadas pois eu sempre costumo seguir as mesmas estratégias de acordo com cada partida. Você também já notou essa versatilidade "padronizada" na sua conta?

VERSATILIDADE "PADRONIZADA"

Eu possuo no total 141 cartas alugadas que estão distribuídas entre todos os splinters (exceto Terra ) e que me possibilitam utilizar composições muito diferentes de acordo com as regras de cada partida visando sempre estar na vantagem em relação ao meu adversário. Essa versatilidade é essencial para disputar adequadamente no Gold 1 e até o momento tem funcionado muito bem para mim.

Para alcançar esse nível de versatilidade eu precisei de muitas horas vagando pelo Peakmonsters em busca das cartas com o melhor custo benefício e mesmo que seja um trabalho árduo esse site facilita e muito essa navegação, tornando possível conseguir cartas com custo/benefício fenomenais!

Entretanto mesmo com toda essa disposição, ao observar meu histórico de partidas eu percebi que há muitos padrões nas minhas composições e que em muitas partidas eu utilizo estratégias semelhantes. Isso me fez refletir sobre o quão bizarro é o cérebro humano, quando ele encontra algo que funciona bem nós tendemos à optar sempre pela decisão mais fácil e com maior garantia de funcionar. Esse pensamento racional pode funcionar muito bem mas acaba nos limitando e impedindo que possamos aprender experimentando novas estratégias.

A imagem acima mostra que no meu histórico das últimas 20 partidas 5 delas foram com utilizando composições de Fogo muito semelhantes, explorando pouco as diversas outras opções de cartas que eu tenho disponíveis nesse elemento.

Eu não sei o quão saudável é essa minha tendência de escolher sempre as cartas que considero serem mais fortes e se isso pode estar de alguma maneira me afetando negativamente (seja no winrate ou na falta de aprendizado com novas estratégias).

Observar a constante repetição de cartas/estratégias no meu histórico de partidas me fez ligar o alerta vermelho e a partir de agora vou monitorar constantemente a maneira como estou jogando pois não quero permitir essa estagnação, afinal isso significaria que estou deixando de aprender novas estratégias e de utilizar as novidades constantes do jogo para renovar minha gameplay.

Objetivando resolver esse problema eu vou me forçar à utilizar as novas cartas da edição Riftwatchers para experimentar novas estratégias e composições, afinal a melhor maneira de buscar inovação é utilizar novas cartas, não é mesmo?

CONSIDERAÇÕES FINAIS

Olhar para si mesmo de vez em quando é uma ótima forma de acompanhar se você está no caminho certo. No meu caso eu considero que essa **versatilidade "padronizada" não seja tão saudável então vou procurar maneiras de solucionar esse problema. INTRODUCTION

Today I'm feeling sick (result of my bad eating habits) and I decided to take a little break from my Splinterlands posts from Review of the new Riftwatchers edition cards, so when looking for an interesting game that could serve to create some informative content I noticed a pattern.

Even though I have leased cards from five different splinters (Earth is the only exception) and this gives me a huge versatility, in the end this versatility results in standardized compositions because I always follow the same strategies according to each match. Have you also noticed this "standardized" versatility in your account?

"STANDARDIZED" VERSATILITY

I have a total of 141 leased cards that are distributed among all splinters (except Earth ) and that allow me to use very different compositions according to the rules of each match, always aiming to be at the advantage over my opponent. This versatility is essential to properly compete in Gold 1 and so far it has worked very well for me.

To reach this level of versatility I needed many hours wandering around Peakmonsters in search of the cards with the best cost benefit and even though it is a hard work this site makes it easy and a lot of this navigation, making it possible to get charts with phenomenal cost/benefit!

However, even with all this disposition, when looking at my game history I realized that there are many patterns in my compositions and that in many games I use similar strategies. This made me reflect on how bizarre the human brain is, when it finds something that works well we tend to always opt for the easiest decision and with the greatest guarantee of working. This rational thinking can work very well, but it ends up limiting us and preventing us from learning by trying new strategies.

The image above shows that in my history of the last 20 matches 5 of them were using Fire compositions very similar, exploring the various other card options that I have available in this element.

I don't know how healthy this tendency of mine is to always choose the cards that I consider to be stronger and if this could be in any way negatively affecting me (whether in winrate or in the lack of learning with new strategies) .

Observing the constant repetition of cards/strategies in my match history made me turn on the red alert and from now on I will constantly monitor the way I am playing because I don't want to allow this stagnation, after all that would mean that I am not learning new strategies and using the constant new features of the game to renew my gameplay.

In order to solve this problem I'm going to force to use the new cards from the Riftwatchers edition to try new strategies and compositions, after all the best way to seek innovation is to use new cards, isn't it?

FINAL CONSIDERATIONS

Looking at yourself once in a while is a great way to keep track of whether you're on the right track. In my case I consider that this "standardized" versatility is not so healthy so I'll look for ways to solve this problem. Have you also noticed if there is any custom you do that is harmful to you? Eu acabo repetindo muito o summoner quix pq é o unico que tenho em lvl max pro prata e em consequencia meus monstros ficam mais fortes com ele.
Geralmente isso é bom.. mas quando entro no modo automatico as vezes uso ele onde poderia fazer melhor uso com um obsidian ou até tarsa lvl2 por exemplo e perco por ir no de maior lvl...

Sempre com ótimos conteúdos, eu gosto de montar composições deixando a disposição um deck de água e terra, raramente também o de fogo.
