Which cryptocurrency do you invest in and why?

avatar

Everyone at Hive is more used to the crypto universe, however not everyone invests in other projects than Hive.

Do you invest in any other cryptocurrencies? Why did you decide to invest in it?

I really liked Reverio's proposal. I believe that the Draft and Templates options should be added to improve the user experience and allow the questions to be better elaborated without the fear of losing everything.

I sell NFT cards of Gods Unchained game for $IMX, collecting, and staking it. Selling for $ETH is also possible there, probably I'll start collecting ETH too but, if everything is fine, IMX can bring more since it has lower cap and it fell down lower to the current moment (as all smaller coins) than ETH and it might grow more than ETH potentially. But ETH looks more guaranteed, of course.

IMX is a Layer2 of ETH, ZKRollup, it hosts NFT games like Gods Unchained or Guild of Guardians as well as NFT image collections. IMX seems to develop dynamically. It is an Australian company, as I know, a large one.

Some say L2 is future of ETH. If IMX keeps being competitive or wins the race of L2 blockchains, it may grow much when the bull market comes.

DYOR, not financial advice, of course.

Ethereum's next year will be focused on layer 2 development, so coupled with the asymmetry that a coin smaller than Ethereum has, IMX could be a great choice to potentially see huge valuations in an upcoming Bull market!

While at this point I'd unironically describle myself as a Hive maxi, I've actually found myself with a little stack of WAX.

Why?

Well, I wouldn't say that I am specifically investing in WAX.

But since getting involved in the GM:FRENS NFT project and community, it's become a blockchain that I have found myself using pretty much every day.

And as such, buying - and spending (shock horror!) - WAX for resources and NFTs.

It's interesting to think that those cases where we don't feel like "investors" but like users are actually the best use cases for a crypto, at least you are using it for something other than just speculating

I still have some random coins from 2017, but these days I'm mostly BTC/ETH (and HIVE of course). I do have a tiny stack of $GODS and $IMX that I've accumulated over time through playing Gods Unchained and other games (and giveaways) on the ImmutableX platform. I haven't bought either with money, but I've invested my time as it were. In fact, I just realized I have yet to buy HIVE, either. I've just been growing my stack by posting on (and working for) the ecosystem.
