Buds and Young Leaves of Bird Cherry
Bird cherry - a low tree, even, rather, a shrub. In the spring the bird cherry buds start to grow very early, almost simultaneously with the first snowdrops of the forest.
They are noticeably elongated, and their sharp ends turn green. They quickly bloom and after a short time there are already young shoots with leaves. As the deployment of leaves become visible and future of the inflorescence-the brush, they look like candles. Instead of flowers, there are only buds - small greenish balls.
After a while the buds will turn white and open. Soon it will be time to bloom.
