It was 6am. She woke up with feeling refreshed. He was still holding her while they slept. A ritual he has stuck to for quite a long time now. She turned to look at him and he was still deep in sleep. She caressed his beard while looking at his handsomeness. He seem to never grow old. She kissed him on his lips, an intended peck but before she could pull back, he responded. She was surprised. "I thought you were asle..." He didn't let her finish, he closed her mouth, leaning in for some more, she obliged and when they both had their fill, they were breathless and silent.

"I love you", he said but she didn't respond. "I said I love you." This time he was deliberately louder. She burst out laughing. "I love you more" she said choking with laughter. She heard him the first time but she had the habit of making him say it twice before she responds, and over the years, he didn't seem to mind.

It was a beautiful Saturday and they had nothing of note on their plans, so she didn't hesitate to crawl back into his arms while he relaxed properly. They seemed inseparable and always enjoyed the silence of their thoughts. They were so connected that they could say what was in each other's mind.

They have been married for two years now and have had no babies because they both agreed to enjoy each other's company before having babies. Vicky knew that the conversation of making babies would soon be underway and in this silence they shared, she feared that he would bring it up and he did.

"We need to start making little Vicky and little Jay", he said in his calm tone while turning her around to look her in the face. She covered her face with her hand and said she wasn't ready and that she thought two years would prepare her, but the idea of pregnancy and childbirth was still so scary. As she spoke, her emotions heightened and she broke into a sob.

"Babe, No, please, don't do that. Common, okay, I'm sorry.".

"Don't be sorry", she said, I don't know what's wrong with me , I'm just so frightened".

He assured her that everything would be alright and that he would be with her all along the way, and they would have the best doctors and she wouldn't have to go through pain.

  ***Three years later***

*"Sign the papers Jay and don't even think you would keep the house."
It was Vicky. She was loud and hysterical. He didn't say a word. He just looked at her, with a streak of tear on his chin. She immediately told him that his feigned crying wouldn't cut it, and that he should sign the divorce papers.

Jay seem to have lost his voice. He didn't know how else to plead. It's been the longest 5 months of his life and he was loosing his mind.

Vicky believed he cheated on him because she saw the pictures on his phone. He was laying on their matrimonial bed and laying next to him was their neighbor's wife. She was naked. Vicky had stumbled on the phone while looking through the pictures of herself Jay had taken of her. The phone fell off her hands when she saw them and when she showed Jay,he said he had never seen them before.

Vicky couldn't believe him. She knew that Jay had mentioned several times that their neighbors wife had flirted with him but then they both joked over it. He once said she attempt to kiss him on the cheek but he gave her a stern warning.

Jay truly hadn't seen the pictures before now and his confusion was overblown. That day he kept thinking and asking himself how those pictures came about, but the more he thought about it, the more confused he became.

But Vicky was not having any of it. She wanted a divorce. She couldn't believe that Jay would do such to her. She bore him children, they were comfortable, they barely even argued. Her greatest pain stemmed from the fact that Jay couldn't explain what happened. He has been saying for 5 months now that he doesn't know how those pictures came about and then he would cry and say he would never do such a thing.

So, while Vicky asked him to sign the papers, he walked over to her and tried to make her look at him, but she wouldn't. He tried again and this time she was crying. They were both crying. He asked her to give him two weeks and if he hasn't solved the misery that surrounded those pictures, then he would sign the papers.

Jay hired a private investigator as a last resort and soon the mystery was unravelled. Well, their neighbor's wife had being sued for deformation of character twice and on both cases, she had illegally obtained photographs of her victims and with her great skills in photography, put a picture of her nude self next to her victims. She does this to everyone who has refused to oblige to her sexual request. She is a Psychopath who goes to any length to get what she wants. According to the findings, she feels closer to the victims when she does that and gets some sort of satisfaction by looking at those images. She however takes her act further by sending the pictures to the phones of her victim as the confusion that follows usually makes her exhilarated as she watches unnoticed.

This was the break Jay was looking for. He immediately contacted Vicky and begged her to come to his office. She obliged and once she came in, he asked the investigator to reveal the findings to his wife.

Vicky was stunned, broke into tears and begged Jay to forgive her for not entirely trusting him. She said nothing made sense beforehand and that was what made her go to the length of asking for a divorce.

Jay said he understood and that he would probably have reacted in a similar way if the scene were reversed.

They hugged for do long that their legs ached when they finally let go.
"I love you he said and I will never let you go,never"
