I don't remember exactly when I last visited my favourite beach, Choroní, the most beautiful beach in the world, with its warm sunsets and the sound of drums and the noisy feet of Black women dancing. I spent many weekends traveling from Caracas to Choroní, and I never tried this view from the boardwalk. I took this photo many years ago; I didn't even remember I had it. Today, while organising my photos into folders, I was able to rescue them. What a treasure trove of good memories. Looking at it, I can feel the warmth of the Caribbean, smell the beach, and taste the cocoa liqueur. Blessed the Caribbean.
