Old age is inevitable, even reaching that stage is a challenge, a feat and for many a privilege, lately I have thought a lot about my own old age, although before it was a superficial thought, full of fears and doubts, now I have learned to be more understandable with myself, no doubt my dog has given me life lessons that I did not see before, at 17 years old, I only see life in her, I have seen her down, but she still wags her tail when she sees other dogs, I have had her sick without eating for days, but she cheers up when I open the door of the house to go out, I have seen her cry because of pain, and a few minutes later I see her like a rock, attentive to everything and ready to heal and move forward, she has made me ashamed of my immature thoughts about old age, with every step she takes in the park, she gives life lessons to everyone, and especially to me, she has made me mature and better understand the inevitable, that old age can be very CHINGONA! ¡La vejez es inevitable, incluso llegar a esa etapa es un reto, una hazaña y para muchos un privilegio, últimamente he pensado mucho en mi propia vejez, aunque antes era un pensamiento superficial, lleno de temores y dudas, ahora he aprendido a ser más compresible conmigo misma, sin duda mi perrita me ha dado lecciones de vida que antes no veía, a sus 17 años, solo veo en ella vida, la he visto decaída, pero sigue moviendo su colita cuando ve a otros perros, la he tenido enferma sin comer por días, pero se anima cuando abro la puerta de la casa para salir, la he visto llorar por dolor, y a los pocos minutos la veo como una roca, atenta a todo y dispuesta a sanar y seguir adelante, ha hecho que mis pensamientos inmaduros sobre la vejez me avergüence, ella con cada pasito que da en el parque, le da lección de vida a todos, y en especial a mí, me ha hecho madurar y entender mejor lo inevitable, que la vejez puede ser muy CHINGONA! ¡GRACIAS!
