RE: What was you experience with onboard people to an Hive DApp?
You are viewing a single comment's thread:
i onboarded some medium Twitter crypto people in the past. Our great community bullies them of in the meanwhile :D

That is very typical, lot's of 'moral' bullies around here.
let's burn the bridge to the network effect
We all like flamethrowers and bad movies
Just how we role here, you pick the wrong #tag, you're done!
Or vote for something a rando whale doesn't like. It's 100% soy to believe hive would scale to the masses without killing POB L1.
If hive would be the neutral carrier of information and Hive token is gas/gov it would work out.
Move away from ponzi rewarding to actual revenue streams from apps would be the next step :D
But hey, i still like it how it is :D Many cool people here to have fun.
We see people making this curation and voting game into a business long before being able to provide really interesting content.
Their sixth sense awakes and this happens
I mean if you talk about how amazing hive is twice a day, you become a top author even if the content is bullshit and has zero value :D
I call it incest content and I'm certain it destroyed thousands of conversions on Leofinance. If you get linked to Leo for an article or from Twitter due to some info on a DAO or whatever was the flavor of the day in the last bull run and everything you see is "We're so great, buy our shit!". Guess what, you turn around and never come back again.
It's really getting high on your fats.
well that sucks. I've seen a couple of cases of folks getting zeroed out because of conflicting viewpoints.
as long hive is not a neutral carrier of information I don't see a way for mass adoption.
POB failed IMO.
#proofofbrain has the single purpose to create a wide distribution, + sell the ponzi as content curation.
look what ocd does.
Upvote people from third-world countries. That's ok. But 80% power down all rewards.
I shared some posts from posh on Twitter, those people start attacking me because of sharing the content, no joke.
Is public on Twitter.
Like stop sharing my content after me, i want the posh rewards.
:D
I mean i don't give a shit, but that is not the idea behind it.
100% inefficient :D
They attacked you for sharing their content? Oh man, the incest is strong within them.
But it's the idea of having professional curators who organize via Discord itself that is already broken. The endless cycle of "Trust me I'll decentralize for you".
Let's burn it all!
Yeah
