My day: Finding a New Home

The other day, my partner and I discussed that he needs to separate from his sister and his mother because their apartment landlord is about to evict them. They said that they only have until the end of February, so we easily researched apartments on Facebook that were close to us. Since apartments are the trend here in Manila, we didn't have a hard time finding a few houses. But my partner has some considerations as to why he doesn't want to get an apartment. First, his modem has almost no signal, which is one of the things he invested a lot of money in. Second, some of the apartments do not accept pets. And third, some of the fully furnished houses do not want to install some of the things that need to be attached to the walls. We are having difficulty finding an apartment for him to stay due to some non-productive considerations.

Before the end of the day, we decided to visit a house that was only a few minutes away from our houses.

So before 7 a.m. in the morning, I'm awake to fix it. We will visit the house for a viewing and talk to the broker that my partner is talking to.

Before we go, we eat local food that is sold in our area. We call it Palabok, and it is one of the most popular breakfast and snack foods among Filipinos.

After we finished eating, we easily went to the street where the house was. While walking, I entertained my partner because he can easily feel bored especially since the house was far away when we walked. While walking, we also noticed that he was not passed by public vehicles, so my partner was even more off. There is also no nearby market, church, grocery and school so we already know that it will be difficult for us to get out of this street if we get the apartment.

A few minutes passed and we reached home. We immediately noticed the quietness of the area but my partner liked it because he doesn't like a noisy environment. Because the house we looked at that day was private, I couldn't tell the owner that I would take pictures of every corner, so for now, I can't share the inside of the house with you.

However, I can say that the interior of the house is beautiful but there are some agreements in the house that do not correspond to my partner's wishes. My partner's broker is asking too much and it's a bit doubtful to pay that much for the house.

After we looked inside the house, we left to go home.

On my way back to my house, I boarded a boat again. It's funny because the end of the bridge construction in our area is also ongoing. When that is finished we can walk from Punta to Sta. Ana.

When I returned home, my son was already prepared to go to his school. Their uniform is now Boy Scout, so this is what he is wearing. I just drank water and we went to his school.

Before he entered, he asked me if I could take a picture of his best friend's girl. Her name is Kate and she is also wearing Girl Scout attire.

After entering the gate, my co-mom and I left to walk home. My son's school is also a few minutes away but since I have gained a few kilos, I need to lose weight and one of my exercises is walking. The weather was hot but tolerable because we had umbrellas with us.

I also enjoy walking because I see many beautiful things and some of them are flowers. My companion kept laughing because I always stopped just to take shots on some of the flowers and clouds that I was dying to glimpse.

Anyways, this whole day was very tiring because when I got home, I took care of myself to attend the online class.

So for now, that's all my story and thank you very much for reading. This blog is my entry for @wednesdaywalk by sir @tattoodjay and #MakeMeSmile challenge by @elizacheng

Mahirap ung rent to own ate, mostly sa mga bahay here sa Manila ay di magaganda pwesto tapos rights lang ata din. May chance pa ma-scam, ayaw naman din ni partner nung condo kasi dami niya issue when it comes security and dun din sa mga alaga niyang meownies.
