Welcome To My Water World

Hello to this wonderful community I'm here to tell you about our experiences, challenges we have in this place filled with water.

Im Usagi borned in Manila Philippines but sent away from the province of Bulacan where I find true Love we have four kids two girls and two boys. Eleven years ago We have a happy life own house it was built with brick but the other half was with bamboo. I thought it was endless the province life is far away different from a city life the food, air is fresh. It was a peaceful and quiet it's like all the problems will easily solved. Until storms hit our place it was normal but I didn't expect that happy place will turned into ocean of floods.

This is my aunt's place and before it was as beautiful as in the picture but as the years went by it changed. Evey year the water rises high and never goes down only the higer part will survive. If you're In low place and doesn't have a second floor you'll house will be filled with water.

I took all the pictures about less than two years ago where we evacuated in our aunts house because our house doesn't have a second floor. But this is not just the worst, awful memories are I still fresh in my mind.

My husband accompany my cousin to the Market but before he left us the city barangay announced that the dams already open their gates and it only means big flood. So I asked him if we need to evacuate but he said not yet maybe after he came back. I've waited after one hour the water rises high I arranged and save the things that might sink an hour again me and my two kids are waiting at our wood bed because its the only one left dry.

Our neighbors hubbys relatives are worried to us they always scream and asked if we're okay and ill just yelled back yes! but they insist to save us because they saw we might left trapped inside our house. I was blanked and didn't know that it will happen I was not in panic but maybe because of the flow of the water I can see its getting high I focused on the things that might be reached with water so I didn't thought we Will be left trapped inside and they'll going to destroy the our bamboo window so we can pass by.

We were brought to my husband's aunts house their second floor is not as stable but their only intention is too help. Then my husband arrived he was so worried then he told us he'll borrow the boat and take us into his parents house. As he paddle along I saw no roads in the place it was like a ghost town and he said the water might last for a week or two.

This is our present house and the only way to go to the road Is to ride a boat

There goes Ria playing with that cute ducks this was the time that we haven't have our own boat.

But we've tried harder so we can have our own and it can also be used for fishing. The second boat is ours and the rest is our neighbors.

This is our present bridge, we need to find ways to step on a dry land

And this year we experienced a high tide, we hate it to the point that we had an athletes foot, it was itchy and painful. But most of all we couldn't stop the nature from getting mad, there a lot of reasons why we experienced this and even if we found it all it's too late! We just need to survive till we can.
