I don't know about flames, but adding copper to fireworks makes green explosions. Magnesium is white.
Have you ever seen a Samoan fire dance? I saw one st the Polynesian Culture Center on Oahu, Hawaii, near BYU about 30 years ago. It was amazing.

Ahh I thought it was a flame temperature but yes, I have seen samoan fire dance in Hawaii. That is amazing and scary at the same time 🤣
