I'll choose hard work over and over: W37e1
Top of the day beautiful people, it's another moment to crack brains and share ideas this week.
This weeks topic is quite and interesting one and I would love to share my thoughts on it.
To be successful in any field, we must have one or the other. In your current line of work which one do you have going for you? Is it talent or hard work? And how have you been finding it so far? Please share your story with us.
Let's break down these two words and see their correlation.
Talents are said to be a natural endowment or gifts that comes without any special training. Examples of talent could be singing, dancing, artistic skills
And tons of others too merits to mention.
Meanwhile hard work is the quality of putting so much effort, time, resources and energy into getting a job done. It doesn't come by birth but by determination.
These two go together, they need each other to stay alive, if you neglect one the other might not go well. However, to some extent the HARD WORK can stand on its own without the help of talent.
Talents are hidden gems in us, mostly from Birth. A lot of us noticed it at a very tender age and with the help of our parents we were able to develop it. While others noticed it lately and are trying to work it out, others have completely lost it.
Talents can pull a person And make a person shine but hard work keeps you steady at the top and even takes you higher. Hard work plays an important role in a man's success story and countless times I will settle for hard work
Why hard work??
Hard work is the training field for every human that wants to be successful and remain at the top. I haven't seen any occupation which is stressful and doesn't require much work at some levels, even the illegal ones. The higher you go the tougher the work becomes and the more energy needed to climb up.
There is a popular quote that says practice makes perfect. Over the years there have been testimonies of how practice has made perfect and even till today and in the future, practice makes and will always make perfect.
No matter how good you are and your skills, hard work will always make you perfect. Whereas a non-talented man can shine or stand out even more than a talented person. Well because he/she is diligent in his work, he keeps grinding steadily, He is definitely going to be successful.
We heard about so many talented people right from birth and the world was already giving open ears and warm hands to them but they failed along the way. They failed because they laid their hopes on their talents, most of them were proud and arrogant but in a split second their records all faded.
How is talent more effective?
Whereas we have heard stories of legends and superstars who have been able to climb up to the peak of their success by relentlessly putting all they've got into their ambitions. They met obstacles on the way, they got ripped by thorns and they still kept their heads up, refusing to give up. The likes of Kobe Bryant who had no talent but picked up interest in Basketball. He failed countless times, but today he is regarded as a top NBA super star. That's the result of hard work and consistency.
My line of work is taking care of children, babies and toddlers. Well I am talented at that but that doesn't keep me going. Everyday the world is evolving, new things and strategies are being invented which I need to research on,update my bank of knowledge to be more successful in my field of work.
Each and everyday I work hard in gathering materials, resources which can be so beneficial to the kids. If it were to be talent alone, I would have lost it completely when the children cry, mess up their clothes, get sick, get bored, I wouldnt have been able to teach them to write if I didn't work hard to find measures in making learning very easy for them.
Talents are good and beautiful, it gives you a blueprint, a clear cut road map which gives direction on your success. Your talents can become world class and be recorded in the books of guiness if and only if you put so much hard work and energy into it.
If not, a more hardworking person has 100% chances to be more successful than you a talented person.
To keep your talents burning and noticed, sandwiched with hardwork. Hard work is the real deal💯.
As the world is evolving, we have to put more effort and work hard to keep up with the fast pace if the world.

Yeah well said, just let me say talent is independent, it depends on Hardwork to make it function well and relevant.
Talent can easily die if not worked upon, one needs to put in extra effort be it physical, mental etc in achieving certain things.
