W40e2: Stay Home🚷

Ommooorr …… this contest is so hard ehhhh but I will give it a try since it is basically personal.

The very first time I experienced a lockdown was 2020, covid-19 lock down. There was another, Ebola but it wasn't as intense as the later. Ebola was not as intense as Covid-19 and it only lasted in space for 2-3months. Ebola was more of a holiday and although a lot of people died it wasn't still as catastrophic as Covid-19.

Covid-19 was a world plague that swept across the whole universe, putting a silence on existence. The streets were empty, the hospitals and Emergency units, Covid-19 centers were filled with tons of human beings, Death accelerated and there was an overflow both from the virus and hunger which was at its peak.

So according to this week's contest, God forbid there be another lockdown, an impromptu one at that, how would life be for me.

Impromptu Lockdown

If the world were to go into another sudden lockdown, keeping everyone indoors and not coming out. How long do you think you can survive as it is, before you would have to come outside again to either work or get food? Share with us.

Well last lockdown wasn't that sweet for me, I was still not solely responsible for myself then, I was heading to adulthood and then I needed to step up my financial game so as not to make myself a burden to my aunt.
That year I got introduced to STEEMIT by @uyobong, a month to the pandemic. Asides steemit, he explained other ways to make money in this economy.
All my mind was wired to go to school, it was a year since I graduated from high school, so I pursued going to the tertiary. I wasn't thinking straight because I felt my school fees would fly out anyhow. But then I paused after he spoke a lot to me. And my peers were doing wonders in the digital market space.

That year I was determined to be independent of people, face my life squarely and fend for myself. That lockdown was definitely a blessing to me because I have achieved a lot since then through the online business space.

I started from steemit to Affiliate marketing to crypto airdrops and then I started hearing a lot about crypto currency.
I am always so impressed seeing people like @uyobong and @tomlee making a lot of money from the convenience of their homes and it was a good thing to covet.

I wouldn't have had any stress if there was another lockdown, reasons are
I stay inside a lot. I am not really a social butterfly and I can stay for weeks without stepping outside as far as food and other necessities are available…
I don't eat too much as well, I eat in tiny quantities, Little by little so my food would not finish in a hurry.
I got some gadgets last year and this year, my aunt got a solar light for the house, which means my battery is always charged.
I got into Hive as a full time job, and trust me, it has helped enormously.
Communication is made easy through the use of technology

So how would my life be if there's an impromptu lockdown and how long can I survive?

But with all of these, I can survive for only a month.
In that month, I'll ensure that there is enough food and other basic necessities stocked up for me.
Coz I'll need to stretch a bit.
Then I get back to my pouch and work.
I happened to join the multitude of people that prefer staying at home and unleashing their creativity which can in return be a source of livelihood without much physical stress.
So inasmuch as I don't want another lockdown for the sanity of others whose businesses and lives will be at risk, I think I will do well if there's another lockdown.
