Today, I read one of the most anticipate announcment from the Rabona team bothering the stepping up of referral rewards to as high as $1.5. Being an ardent player of the Rabona soccer game, it is obvious that the Rabona game would be having a new face lift and it approaching mass adoption with the huge Referral reward system coming onboard. Below is the details of the announcement.
The work on new referrals system is almost done! Expect it to be rolled out at the end of this season, i.e. January 12th. It's so exciting for me having already had eight referrals in the Rabona game over the last 15 months of playing the game. Eight referrals is just too low, perhaps I wasn't well motivated to bring more new users. I earned just 25,000 RBN token for each user referred but from the next season, one new user added to the Rabona game would fetch me over a million RBN tokens.
Over the last few weeks the Rabona game has been receiving some booster since the announcement by the Rabona game team about the new usecases created for the RBN in-game token. With the new referral development, I see more new users coming into Rabona game and that has an effect on the token economy of the game.
So far, referral rewards has been an underutilized gem in the cryptoverse. Hive blockchain only has referral system bound into its games and this keeps many of the web 2 socialmedia way out of the game. Many out there are used to earning referral rewards as a passive source of income. I hope that we on Hive can look at this direction to add another pool of passive earnings to hivers.

Rabona is just a year and Three months. The team had some long break around mid 2021. However, there's seems to be a great booster recently with awesome developments around the game.

To be exact, $1.50 is the maximum awarded to both you as the referrer and the person who joins by your referral. From that $0.40 is the maximum amount for the referred, so you as the referrer can gain up to $1.10 from each invited person.

It's interesting that the majority of people forget about the referral earnings from the blockchain games and focus ONLY on earning "inside" the game... It's similar with Splinterlands, as people are chasing rewards from winning battles, and not on passive income from possible referrals...
