We continue our Yalova tour. 🥰 On the second day of our trip, we chose Thermal, which is the first place that comes to mind when Yalova is mentioned. It was a place I wish I had seen. Frankly, I did not expect such a beautiful place. 😉
Let's start our trip.

On the way to the thermal from my cousin's house, you are completely disconnected from the city and stay in silence, the houses and nature offer a beautiful visual feast.

When we came to the thermal, we had a hard time parking our car, there was a serious crowd. First of all, I would like to point out that it is a city and place preferred by Arab tourists. It is a place where you will rarely come across Turkish-speaking people, and we traveled as local tourists alongside Arabs. 🥰

When we say thermal, the first thing that comes to mind is hot healing waters and spas. That's exactly what I thought, but I never took into account the beauty of nature and hydrangea flowers. 💮

The only flower used in the landscape is hydrangea, the colorful hydrangeas. When you enter the thermal and move a little further, the hydrangea gardens welcome you. On the right, there is one of the hotels where people who come to benefit from its healing waters will stay. The road leading to Atatürk Mansion on the left, the lower side of the road in the form of a slope, is adorned with flowers all over. Next to the flowers, there are people who take pictures in every corner by lying on them and making the flowers their backdrop. One of them is mine.

When I found these natural beauties, I immediately used them as a backdrop for my photography. 🥰

There are historical trees and flowers where you step. Notes were written on the historical trees for informational purposes. Type and age of the tree. The space is so huge that the crowd doesn't bother you.

Since the thermal is on very large and steep slopes, vehicles such as caterpillar-like trains, which used to be in amusement parks in the past, can easily take you to the point you want to go to without getting tired for a certain fee.

I mentioned that the feature of this place is its healing waters. The center, which heals with these waters, started its activities at the request of Atatürk. It contains waters that will be good for our various organs, these waters are separated according to their properties. Here are some of them eye water, foot water

Eye water is used to relieve eye ailments such as styes and dry goose. We both washed our eyes with this water and filled it in a bottle for the other members of our family who did not come with us and brought it to Bursa. So that they can benefit from this healing water. This healing eye water flows hot, there is a great demand for these waters, and the places where it was found were very crowded.

Other healing water is foot water fracture, rheumatism etc. is used in the treatment of diseases. It flows like a stream, especially this foot water was very crowded, there were people who came with wheelchairs for healing. Frankly, I did not put my feet in this water, the places where the water flows were very mossy and many people put their feet in at the same time, which pushed me. I know that nothing stays in the running water, it is clean, and this water is hot, so it does not contain germs, but what can we say, maybe it's not my time to heal. 🙈

And this is an interesting chimney image, what do you think of the place made with big stones?
Without delay, let me tell you right away that it is a healing water vapor that is good for respiratory diseases such as asthma, bronchitis, shortness of breath, and also good for blood circulation. You put your face completely inside the chimney at the top and try to stand as long as you can, meanwhile, this steam bath is good for the skin. It's impossible to stay long because the weather is hot, but I got in line and took advantage of this steam bath twice.

After visiting and taking lots of photos, it was time to rest. I think this is the oldest place of the thermal, this place is considered to be the center of the thermal.

It saddens me that such a special place is so neglected, lacking in hygiene and cleanliness. It is an important point for Yalova Tourism, but everywhere is busy, there is no paint and whitewash, as well as in cafes. In other words, the unique beauty that is the gift of nature should not be wasted like this. You may see me as negative, but I get angry at the disrespect.

Yes, you can go and visit, spend a day in nature amid the sounds of birds and come back like a bomb with energy, but it could be better.
