Paid More For Less | Got Disappointed By A Tailor

This life is at times full of disappointment at times and it is always fun when you meet this disappointment in the wrong place, I have been in Lagos for a while and I'm someone that don't really leave my room talk less of knowing people around me, I remember how I had to walk from street to street just to get a barbing salon of my choice because I am always selective when it come to getting a hair cut and the funniest part was when I had to sew my cloth and I had to use the help of google maps just to locate a tailor around my area, I have to drive down to and figure it is one man like that, he did really well and I turned him into my personal tailor since then until one very day I thought to myself, it is really good to not based on one person and at least have multiple tailors if possible.

So one day, I had this wedding coming up and I brought the cloth which I'm suppose to give my tailor but since I want to try out a tailor I saw new to my house, I decided to just try him out first. The look of his shop really draw my attention to him, so I thought he must be a professional at least that was what I though but I was somehow skeptical and was having second doubt so he won't go and spoil the wedding cloth so I decided to get another cloth materials and give him a trial first, upon reaching his shop, he took my measurement after asking him to do normal male attire for me and I actually picked a design from his magazine and he charge me 20k which shocked me because normally I only pay 5-7k to my tailor, I try to beat down the price but he said the less he can do is 15k, I was wowed but I still pay him since I want to try him, he gave me a date to pick up the cloth and I left.

The d-day came and i was happy inside me since I thought he will surely do a perfect job, I went to his shop on my way back from my outing, I ask his apprentice about him and the cloth, they shown me the cloth and I decide to try it on before leaving the place, I was given the shock of my life, he actually did the opposite of what I expect, it was awful and not even presentable, I was really disappointed and I had to just leave the place because I don't like causing big trouble, but I really vex that day and decide not to visit him again, like they say first impression last longer, I was made to believe even the shop owner didn't know work at all and had to take the wedding cloth back to my my main tailor and just accept the incident as my own mistake
