RESPECT YOUR FRIENDS

One of the things I mainly desire from my friends is respect, and it is absolutely not respect for my age. I willingly drop any age differences between us the day I agree to become your friend maybe with words or in actions.

I love it when my friends respect my principles, my beliefs, my decisions and my feelings. We don't have to agree on all things, I know we will have differences of course and timely misunderstanding. When I tell you no, don't think otherwise, when I tell you stop don't think otherwise. I as a person always try my best to respect them also. Respect is reciprocal.

Don't use your familiarity with your friends to disrespect them. These things hurt, it hurt badly. I have been a victim of it and it takes a lot of endurance not to overreact. When your Friend tells you "I don't like it", don't say in your mind " Shebi it is Tunde ", he won't say anything. It is a bad idea.

They don't need to scream at you before you know they mean what they say, they may not be in a playing mood all the time and even if they are, respect it. Even in your relationship, respect your partner, don't make them misbehave.

Yes, some things need to be corrected but as at the time when they are telling you they don't like it or to stop that, respect it.

Once there is respect, agreement and understanding will be strengthened. Love will be revived and trust will be earned. Be supportive, listen to them, don't judge them, give respectful advice, don't force your opinion on them, show gratitude and talk about your disagreement.
