Cuentan que una vez desde Burdeos, Francia, zarpó un barco. Fue en 1883, cuando la inmensidad del mar, el silencio de los pájaros al volar, fueron testigos de las nuevas cepas que trajo aquella travesía. Las que en unión con esta tierra comenzaron a formar aquel misterioso vino que con el pasar del tiempo daría vida a una mágica leyenda. Cuentan que los guardo bajo llave, reservaré algunos de los mejores, pensó, aunque esto daría paso al misterio de los constantes robos que su bodega sufrió. Por eso hace más de 100 años, para evitar que sus mejores vinos desaparecieran, Don Elchor de Concha y Toro difundió el rumor que en su bodega habitaba el diablo. Dicen que como el fuego, rápidamente el rumor se propagó. Yo lo he visto, muchos afirmaban y fue tanto lo que la voz se corrió, que en poco tiempo en todos se instaló el temor. Solo así pudo disfrutar junto a los suyos de aquel vino y su excelencia y nunca nadie pudo confirmar el rumor acerca del guardián de sus bodegas y su existencia. Hoy la leyenda sigue viva, Casillero del Diablo, la leyenda del vino.

They say that once, a ship set sail from Bordeaux, France.
