✨¡Hello friends who love creativity! I hope you are all well.✨
Good afternoon, friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week. I am happy to stop by and share a lovely idea with you. This time, I’m sharing a step-by-step guide to making a cute door decoration. Specifically, it’s a door handle hanger—designed to add a sweet, personalized touch to a child's room. I kept it simple: just some little animals, a few stars, and that’s it
🔸Without more to add, then I leave you with the step by step:

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
✨STEP 1:
The first thing I did was take my thin cardboard and come up with a simple design, making sure the hanging section was shaped like a clothes hanger. For the bottom section, I measured 12.5 cm x 7.5 cm; for the hook section, I cut out a piece measuring 4.5 cm x 4 cm with a width of 1.5 cm.

✨PASO 2:
✨STEP 2:
Once the piece was cut out, it was time to paint it the desired color. I wanted to use green, but since I didn't have the exact shade, I mixed a little white with the green paint I had on hand; once I achieved the right color, I applied a coat of paint. After it dried completely, I checked to see if it needed another coat. Since it didn't, I moved on to the pattern: vertical lines, then horizontal lines to form squares, and finally a diagonal line.

✨PASO 3:
Elefante:
✨Cabeza y trompa: 4 cm x 3.5 cm en foami gris.
✨Orejas: 2.5 cm x 1.7 cm en foami gris.
✨Cuerpo y patas: 5 cm x 3 cm en foami gris.
Jirafa:
✨Cabeza y cuerpo: 3.5 cm x 2.7 cm y 7.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 1.3 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Hocico: 2.2 cm x 1.3 cm en foami crema.
✨Antenas: 1 cm x 0.5 cm en foami marrón.
✨Estrellas: 1.5 cm en foami amarillo.
✨STEP 3:
With the base ready, I moved on to the decorative design. To be honest, I started by making the base because I hadn't come up with a specific decoration idea yet—though I knew for sure I wanted an animal theme. So, I took a sheet of white paper and sketched out a few ideas I had in mind until I found the one I liked best. Once the design is ready, it is time to transfer it onto the corresponding colors of craft foam, as explained below:
Elephant:
✨Head and trunk: 4 cm x 3.5 cm in gray foam.
✨Ears: 2.5 cm x 1.7 cm in gray foam.
✨Body and legs: 5 cm x 3 cm in gray foam.
Giraffe:
✨Head and body: 3.5 cm x 2.7 cm and 7.5 cm x 3.5 cm x 1.3 cm in yellow foam.
✨Muzzle: 2.2 cm x 1.3 cm in cream foam.
✨Antennae: 1 cm x 0.5 cm in brown foam.
✨Stars: 1.5 cm in yellow foam.

✨PASO 4:
✨STEP 4:
Once all the pieces are cut out, it is time to color the edges using paints or markers that provide contrast. For the elephant, I used a black marker on all pieces—applying light pressure to avoid smudging—while for the giraffe's body and muzzle, I used brown.

✨PASO 5:
✨STEP 5:
Once the pieces were dry, I drew in the key details, such as the eyes and mouth, and further defined the trunk and ears (using pink for the giraffe's ears, as well as for its cheeks and legs). Next, I refined the elephant's body shape and, finally, added brown spots to the giraffe's body.

✨PASO 6:
✨STEP 6:
To finish up, I glued the elephant pieces together—starting with the head and ears, followed by the body—and attached the muzzle and antennae to the giraffe. Then, I glued both figures onto the base, adding the stars at the top to fill in any empty spaces.

❤️Until the next post.
