Good afternoon, friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week. I'm so happy to stop by and share a lovely idea with you. This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute refrigerator magnet. I wanted to make some changes to the decor, so I thought I'd create something like a little house with a mouse on the side. I wanted to make something simple but adorable.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que debemos hacer, como siempre, es tomar una hoja blanca y comenzar a ponernos creativos dibujando las ideas que tengamos en mente. En mi caso, lo primero que hice fue dibujar un diseño que me gustara de la casa, para luego dibujar el ratoncito, el cual me tenía un poco confundida pues no sabía qué diseño hacer; pero pensé en algo sencillo, con solo una franela, aparte de algunas flores. Al tener el diseño listo, vamos a transferir a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Tejado: 10.5 cm x 1.5 cm en foami marrón.
✨Estructura de la casa: 8 cm x 7.5 cm en foami azul.
✨Ventana: 2.8 cm de circunferencia en foami amarillo.
✨Puerta: 3.7 cm x 3 cm en foami marrón.
✨Pétalos: 2 cm en foami rosa.
✨Centro de flor: 1 cm de circunferencia en foami amarillo.
✨Cabeza y orejas del ratón: 4 cm x 2.5 cm en foami gris.
✨Cuerpo del ratón: 2.7 cm x 2.9 cm en foami gris.
✨Franela: 2.9 cm x 1.3 cm en foami verde.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing we need to do, as always, is take a white sheet of paper and start getting creative by sketching out any ideas we have in mind. In my case, the first thing I did was draw a house design I liked, and then I drew the little mouse. I was a bit confused about the mouse because I didn't know what design to make, but I thought of something simple, just a flannel shirt and some flowers. Once the design was ready, we transferred it to the corresponding colors of foam, as explained below:
✨Roof: 10.5 cm x 1.5 cm in brown foam.
✨House structure: 8 cm x 7.5 cm in blue foam.
✨Window: 2.8 cm in diameter in yellow foam.
✨Door: 3.7 cm x 3 cm in brown foam.
✨Petals: 2 cm in diameter in pink foam.
✨Flower center: 1 cm in diameter in yellow foam.
✨Mouse head and ears: 4 cm x 2.5 cm in gray foam.
✨Mouse body: 2.7 cm x 2.9 cm in gray foam.
✨Flannel: 2.9 cm x 1.3 cm on green foam.

✨PASO 2:
Al tener todas las piezas recortadas, es momento de dar color a los bordes; ya saben que esto me gusta mucho, pues les da profundidad a las piezas. Así que tomamos nuestras pinturas o marcadores y utilizamos para cada pieza un color un tono más oscuro, y luego difuminamos muy bien con ayuda de un pañito.
✨STEP 2:
Once all the pieces are cut out, it's time to color the edges; you know I really like doing this, as it gives the pieces depth. So, we take our paints or markers and use a slightly darker shade of color for each piece, then blend it very well with a cloth.

✨PASO 3:
Seguidamente, vamos a dibujar detalles más específicos e importantes para poder definir mejor cada pieza, así que vamos a dibujar ojos, cejas, boca, nariz, definir mejor el cuerpo, la parte interna de las orejas con un marcador rosa y la ropa. Además, vamos a hacer un diseño tipo madera para la puerta y el tejado, y definimos el diseño de la ventana, al igual que los pétalos.
✨STEP 3:
Next, we're going to draw more specific and important details to better define each piece. We'll draw eyes, eyebrows, a mouth, a nose, and further define the body, the inside of the ears with a pink marker, and the clothing. We'll also create a wood grain design for the door and roof, and define the design of the window, as well as the petals.

✨PASO 4:
Al estar secas las piezas, es momento de comenzar a pegarlas: primero las partes de la casa y luego el ratón, siempre comenzando de la cabeza para abajo, y las flores. Cuando tenemos todo listo, unimos las piezas y, en la parte trasera, pegamos el imán.
✨STEP 4:
Once the pieces are dry, it's time to start gluing them: first the parts of the house, then the mouse, always starting from the head and working downwards, and finally the flowers. When everything is ready, we join the pieces and glue the magnet to the back.
