En esta ocasión, les comparto el paso a paso para elaborar una linda decoración para lápices. Me alegra traer estas creaciones nuevamente, con ideas nuevas para que los niños decoren sus útiles a su gusto. Como ven, esta vez me fui por lo más obvio, jaja, así que las decoraciones protagonistas fueron crear un lápiz escolar y la estructura de una escuela. Además de detalles extras que hacen la diferencia.

This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute pencil topper. I'm excited to bring you these creations again, with new ideas for kids to decorate their school supplies. As you can see, this time I went for the most obvious choice, haha, so the main decorations were a school pencil and a school building. Plus, some extra details that make all the difference.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS

✨PASO 1:

Lo primero, como siempre, es sacar los patrones de las decoraciones; así que tomé una hoja blanca, dibujé la idea que tenía en mente, que, como mencioné al inicio, fue un lápiz y una escuela, solo que el diseño no me convencía, así que la terminé haciendo de dos pisos, para que llame más la atención. Al tener la idea lista, es momento de transferir a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:

Para el lápiz:
✨Borra: 3.8 cm x 1.5 cm en foami rosa.
✨Casquillo: 4.5 cm x 1 cm en foami gris.
✨Cuerpo: 3.7 cm x 2.5 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Punta: 3.7 cm x 2 cm en foami crema.

Para la escuela:
✨Paredes: 4.5 cm x 3 cm y 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm en foami azul.
✨Techo: 5 cm x 1 cm y 3.5 cm x 1 cm en foami marrón.
✨Puertas: 1.5 cm x 1.7 cm y 1.2 cm x 1.2 cm en foami marrón.

Para las flores:
✨Pétalos: 1 cm en foami rosa.
✨Centro de flore: 0.5 cm de circunferencia, en foami amarillo.
✨Hoja: 1 cm en foami verde.

✨STEP 1:

The first step, as always, is to print out the templates for the decorations; So I took a blank sheet of paper and drew the idea I had in mind, which, as I mentioned at the beginning, was a pencil and a school. However, I wasn't entirely happy with the design, so I ended up making it two stories to make it more eye-catching. With the idea ready, it was time to transfer it to the corresponding colors of foam, as I explain below:

For the pencil:
✨Eraser: 3.8 cm x 1.5 cm in pink foam.
✨Tab: 4.5 cm x 1 cm in gray foam.
✨Body: 3.7 cm x 2.5 cm in yellow foam.
✨Tip: 3.7 cm x 2 cm in cream foam.

For the school:
✨Walls: 4.5 cm x 3 cm and 2.5 cm x 2.5 cm in blue foam.
✨Roof: 5 cm x 1 cm and 3.5 cm x 1 cm in brown foam. Doors: 1.5 cm x 1.7 cm and 1.2 cm x 1.2 cm in brown foam.

For the flowers:
✨Petals: 1 cm in pink foam.
✨Flower center: 0.5 cm in diameter, in yellow foam.
✨Leaf: 1 cm in green foam.

✨PASO 2:

Al estar listas y recortadas todas las piezas, viene mi parte favorita, que es dar color a los bordes de todas las piezas, con pinturas o marcadores que hagan contraste con el color de cada una de las piezas. Así que, para la mayoría de las piezas, utilicé el mismo color, pero en tonos más oscuros; pero en el caso del cuerpo del lápiz, utilicé pintura marrón; para el casquillo, techos y puertas, utilicé pintura negra y dejé secar.

✨STEP 2:

Once all the pieces are ready and cut out, comes my favorite part, which is coloring the edges of all the pieces with paints or markers that contrast with the color of each piece. So, for most of the pieces, I used the same color, but in darker shades; but for the pencil body, I used brown paint; for the cap, roofs, and doors, I used black paint and let it dry.

✨PASO 3:

Al estar seco, es momento de hacer los detalles importantes con marcadores, para definir cada una de las piezas, como la madera del techo y los ladrillos en las paredes. Además, definir mejor el cuerpo del lápiz, pintar el grafito del mismo y definir mejor el casquillo.

✨STEP 3:

Once dry, it's time to add the important details with markers to define each of the pieces, such as the wood of the roof and the bricks on the walls. Additionally, I refined the pencil body, painted the graphite, and further defined the ferrule.

✨PASO 4:

Por otra parte, tomé los pétalos de las flores, di color a los bordes, hice un detalle con marcador para definirlas y para luego pasar las piezas por la plancha y hundir el centro de los pétalos para que agarrara forma. Además, repetí el mismo proceso con el centro de las flores y, por último, pegué las piezas, hasta formarlas.

✨STEP 4:

Next, I took the flower petals, colored the edges, added details with a marker to define them, and then ironed the pieces, pressing down the center of the petals to give them shape. I repeated this process with the flower centers and finally glued the pieces together.

✨PASO 5:

Ya casi para finalizar, recorté dos rectángulos de 3.5 cm en foami verde, le di color a los bordes con un tono más oscuro y, al secar, le hice un diseño con marcador. Pegué formando un aro a los lápices o lapiceras, para luego pegar las piezas del lápiz y la escuela, con mucho cuidado. Al estar listas, pegué en medio de los aros.

✨STEP 5:

Almost finished, I cut two 3.5 cm rectangles from green foam, colored the edges with a darker shade, and, once dry, drew a design on them with a marker. I glued these to the pencils or pens, forming a ring, and then carefully glued the pencil and school pieces on. Once those were ready, I glued them in the middle of the rings.
