Good afternoon, friends! I hope you're having a wonderful week. I'm just popping in to share a lovely idea with you. This time, I'm sharing the step-by-step instructions for making a cute teacher badge. It's been a long time since I've made a badge, let alone one for a teacher. I love it because, being personalized, it can match the teacher's appearance as a little something extra; or, if a teacher sees this, the idea is for her to customize it to her liking.

🌟 PROCEDIMIENTO | 🌟 PROCESS
✨PASO 1:
Lo primero que debemos hacer es tomar la hoja blanca y comenzar a dibujar el diseño que deseamos elaborar. En mi caso, surgieron varias ideas las cuales les comparto por si quieren tomarlas; una de las ideas era simplemente el diseño de un lápiz junto con un par de flores pequeñas a los lados, o también tuve la idea de una manzana con un gusano. Pero bueno, finalmente me decidí por el diseño que ven en la portada jaja, que es la idea del lápiz, sin las flores, pero sí con el diseño de la profesora. Al tener el diseño listo, pasamos a los colores correspondientes de foami, como explico a continuación:
✨Cabello: 6 cm x 4.5 cm en foami marrón.
✨Cabeza junto con orejas: 4.3 cm x 3.3 cm en foami crema.
✨Cuello: 1.2 cm x 0.8 mm en foami crema.
✨Cuerpo de lápiz: 6 cm x 2.6 cm en foami amarillo.
✨Punta: 3 cm x 2.5 cm en foami crema.
✨STEP 1:
The first thing we need to do is take the white paper and start drawing the design we want to make. In my case, several ideas came to mind, which I'm sharing in case you'd like to use them; one idea was simply a pencil with a couple of small flowers on the sides, and I also had the idea of an apple with a worm. But anyway, I finally decided on the design you see on the cover (haha), which is the pencil idea, without the flowers, but with the teacher's design. Once the design was ready, we moved on to the corresponding foam colors, as I explain below:
✨Hair: 6 cm x 4.5 cm in brown foam.
✨Head and ears: 4.3 cm x 3.3 cm in cream foam.
✨Neck: 1.2 cm x 0.8 mm in cream foam.
✨Pencil body: 6 cm x 2.6 cm in yellow foam.
✨Tip: 3 cm x 2.5 cm in cream foam.

✨PASO 2:
Al tener todas las piezas recortadas, es momento de dar color a los bordes con pinturas o marcadores que hagan contraste o resalten las piezas. En mi caso, para el cabello utilicé un color negro, mientras que para las piezas en foami crema utilicé un color marrón, al igual que para el cuerpo del lápiz.
✨STEP 2:
With all the pieces cut out, it's time to color the edges with paints or markers that contrast with or highlight the pieces. In my case, I used black for the hair, while I used brown for the cream foam pieces, as well as for the pencil body.

✨PASO 3:
Al estar secas las piezas, viene mi parte favorita, que es dibujar los detalles específicos para definir cada pieza, como sería definir el cabello, las orejas, ojos, nariz, boca, mejillas, aretes y cuello. Además de definir el cuerpo del lápiz, la punta y escribir el nombre de la profesora.
✨STEP 3:
Once the pieces are dry, my favorite part comes next: drawing the specific details to define each piece, such as the hair, ears, eyes, nose, mouth, cheeks, earrings, and neck. I also draw the pencil body, the tip, and write the teacher's name.

✨PASO 4:
Ya casi para finalizar, vamos pegando las piezas en orden; en mi caso, comencé pegando el cabello, la cabeza, el cuello y el lápiz con la punta. Luego de esto, pegamos la decoración sobre foami escarchado rosa y recortamos dejando un borde para que se vea el brillo. Finalmente, volteamos la decoración, recortamos un rectángulo de 3 cm o 2 cm, pegamos solo las puntas en medio y, finalmente, insertamos el alfiler de gancho.
✨STEP 4:
Almost finished, we glue the pieces together in order. In my case, I started by gluing the hair, then the head, the neck, and the pencil with the tip. After that, we glue the decoration onto pink glitter foam and trim it, leaving a border so the glitter shows. Finally, we turn the decoration over, cut out a 3 cm or 2 cm rectangle, glue only the points in the middle, and finally, insert the safety pin.

✨And that's it, friends! That's how you can make this or any other badge you want. Personally, I don't really like the idea of using a pin for children; I think a ribbon is better for them. I hope you enjoyed the step-by-step instructions and are inspired to make one.
