Estimados Hivers, el día 03 de mayo tuve la oportunidad de dictar mi primer Forochat Online avalado por la Universidad de Oriente, lo cual fue una experiencia totalmente gratificante y motivadora. El tema fue la Escritura Creativa, ¿por qué escogí este tema?, la respuesta es sencilla. La escritura creativa es una de las más utilizadas en la actualidad (Hive es una prueba de ello) y ha llegado hasta el área del marketing digital. A mí me encanta escribir creativamente, suelo hacerlo seguido, así que considere tener todas las herramientas para dictar un foro al respecto y el resultado fue increíblemente satisfactorio, recibí comentarios muy buenos y se me pidió volver a repetirlo, cosa que dejo mi corazón contento.

Este Forochat fue la prueba final para poder culminar exitosamente el componente docente que decidí realizar con la intención de prepararme para trasmitir mis conocimientos, ya que me encanta tanto aprender, como enseñar y debo decir que siento que estoy bastante preparada para aventurarme al maravilloso mundo de la educación. Me hace feliz poder compartir con otros lo poco que sé y al mismo tiempo aprender de ellos, como siempre digo, "el conocimiento es poder".

Dear Hivers, on May 3rd I had the opportunity to dictate my first Online Forum supported by the University of Oriente, which was a totally rewarding and motivating experience. The topic was Creative Writing, why did I choose this topic?, the answer is simple. Creative writing is one of the most used nowadays (Hive is a proof of that) and it has even reached the digital marketing area. I love creative writing, I do it often, so I considered having all the tools to dictate a forum about it and the result was incredibly satisfactory, I received very good comments and I was asked to do it again, something that left my heart happy.

This online forum was the final test to successfully complete the teaching component that I decided to do with the intention of preparing myself to transmit my knowledge, since I love both learning and teaching and I must say that I feel that I'm very prepared to venture into the wonderful world of education. It makes me happy to be able to share with others the little I know and at the same time learn from them, as I always say, "knowledge is power".

A mí Forochat se unieron 176 personas (entre ellas varios hivers), cosa que no me esperaba, pero me causo mucha emoción, porque pude confirmar que hice lo correcto escogiendo la escritura creativa como tema a exponer. Inicie puntualmente a la hora pautada dándole la bienvenida a los participantes y anunciando las reglas del grupo, también les pedí que se presentaran antes de iniciar. Llegado el momento de empezar con mi ponencia, decidí presentarme primero con una breve introducción en la cual hablaba un poco sobre mí y el porqué escogí el tema en cuestión, luego comencé a enviar las imágenes y audios creados por mí uno a uno, dando un tiempo prudencial entre cada imagen y audio para que los participantes pudieran procesar todo correctamente. Para culminar con mi ponencia, decidí cerrar con un mensaje motivador y una frase del gran fisíco Albert Einstein que dice "La creatividad es la inteligencia divirtiéndose", fabulosa frase, ¿cierto?

Mencione arriba culminar, pero aún no había terminado todo, quedaba el ciclo de preguntas en donde los participantes podían hacerme preguntas referentes al tema o dar su opinión personal. Esta parte me encanto porque fue muy interactiva, los participantes estaban muy animados agradeciéndome por el Forochat y haciendo preguntas muy buenas acerca de la escritura creativa. Querían que les recomendara libros para aprender, que les sugiriera técnicas de escritura creativa, me pidieron consejos sobre como iniciar un blog o empezar a escribir creativamente e incluso me hicieron preguntas sobre como aplicar la escritura creativa al marketing. Muchos también se animaron a compartir experiencias personales, lo cual fue muy bonito. Sin duda esta parte del Foro fue muy especial.

176 people joined my Forochat (among them many hivers), which I did not expect, but it caused me a lot of excitement, because I could confirm that I did the right thing by choosing creative writing as the topic to expose. I started punctually at the scheduled time welcoming the participants and announcing the rules of the group, I also asked them to introduce themselves before starting. When it was time to start my presentation, I decided to introduce myself first with a brief introduction in which I talked a little about myself and why I chose the topic in question, then I began to send the images and audios created by me one by one, giving a reasonable amount of time between each image and audio so that participants could process everything correctly. To end my presentation, I decided to close with a motivational message and a phrase from the great physicist Albert Einstein that says "Creativity is intelligence having fun", fabulous phrase, isn't it?

I mentioned above to finish, but it was not all over yet, there was still the cycle of questions where the participants could ask me questions about the topic or give their personal opinion. I loved this part because it was very interactive, the participants were really enthusiastic thanking me for the forum and asking great questions about creative writing. They wanted me to recommend books to read, to suggest creative writing techniques, they asked me for advice on how to start a blog or start writing creatively and they even asked me questions about how to apply creative writing to marketing. Many were also encouraged to share personal experiences, which was lovely. Without a doubt this part of the forum was very special.

Mi experiencia fue muy grata, por eso me gustaría que quienes deseen realizar Forochats para trasmitir sus conocimientos o para promocionar sus emprendimientos, puedan tener una experiencia satisfactoria como la mía.

Con lo mencionado anteriormente en mente, voy a dejar aquí unos consejos (o tips) que considero son importantes a la hora de llevar a cabo un Forochat.

📍Elabora un Flyer publicitario donde menciones el tema del Forochat y da una breve descripción puntual de los puntos exactos a tratar. También coloca la fecha, hora y tu número de teléfono para que puedan contactarte. Recomiendo que el Flyer sea publicado por lo menos cinco (5) días antes de realizar el foro.

📍Crea un guion de lo que vas a decir en Word y basándote en el, realiza las imágenes como material de apoyo y graba los audios explicativos (con anticipación). Cuida que las imágenes sean legibles y que los audios se escuchen claramente. El tiempo de estos últimos no debe ser muy largo, recomiendo un tiempo máximo de tres (3) minutos.

📍En un chat aparte (puede ser de un familiar o amigo), manda todo el contenido de tu ponencia en orden secuencial (texto, imágenes y audios) para que al momento de tener que empezar a exponer, solo tengas que reenviar todo al grupo. Esto se hace con el fin de ya tener todo estructurado y sea más fácil la distribución del contenido

📍Establece las reglas del grupo para que la interacción sea positiva y ordenada. Es recomendable que una de las primeras cosas que se envíen en un Forochat para que los participantes lean sean las reglas. Sugiero crearlas con anticipación para que, al momento de iniciar, solo tengan que enviarlas.

📍Envía las imágenes y audios con un tiempo prudencial de espera entre un punto y otro para no saturar a los participantes con la información. Yo recomiendo un tiempo de espera de tres (3) minutos.

📍Siempre ten un mensaje de cierre que vaya acorde al tema expuesto.

📍Llegado el ciclo de preguntas, responde una a una sin presiones, iniciando con la primera persona que pregunto. Procura responder con educación y respeto.

Estas son algunos consejos basados en mi experiencia personal que recomiendo totalmente, espero les sean de utilidad.

My experience was very gratifying, that is why I would like that those who wish to conduct a online forum to transmit their knowledge or to promote their business, can have a satisfactory experience like mine.

With the above mentioned in mind, I'm going to leave here some advice (or tips) that I consider important when carrying out a online forum.

📍Create a Flyer where you mention the topic of the online forum and give a brief description of the exact points to be discussed. Also include the date, time and your phone number so that you can be contacted. I recommend the Flyer to be published at least five (5) days before the forum.

📍Create a script of what you are going to say in Word and based on it, make the images as support material and record the explanatory audios (in advance). Make sure that the images are legible and that the audios are clearly audible. The time of the audios should not be too long, I recommend a maximum of three (3) minutes.

📍In a separate chat (it can be of a family member or friend), send all the content of your presentation in sequential order (text, images and audios) so that when you have to start presenting, you only have to resend everything to the group. This is done in order to have everything structured and to make it easier to distribute the content.

📍Establish the rules of the group so that the interaction is positive and organized. It is recommended that one of the first things to be sent in a onlie forum for the participants to read are the rules. I suggest creating them in advance so that, at the moment of starting, you just have to send them.

📍Send the images and audios with a reasonable waiting time between one point and another in order to avoid saturating the participants with the information. I recommend a waiting time of three (3) minutes.

📍Always have a closing message that is in line with the topic presented.

📍When the cycle of questions arrives, answer one by one without pressure, starting with the first person who asks a question. Try to answer politely and respectfully.

These are some tips based on my personal experience that I highly recommend, I hope you find them useful.

Los Forochats Online son hoy día una de las formas más utilizadas para trasmitir conocimientos o promocionarse (gran estrategia de marketing) tanto de manera gratuita como paga. No importa donde lo hagas, ya sea en la aplicación Whatsapp o Telegram, lo importante es que lo hagas bien, que llegues a tu público y logres tu objetivo. Online Forums are nowadays one of the most used ways to transmit knowledge or promote yourself (great marketing strategy) both free and paid. No matter where you do it, either in the Whatsapp or Telegram applications, the important thing is that you do it well, that you reach your audience and achieve your goal.
