¡Zombis en #ZDE! ¿Una posibilidad o mera fantasía? 🧠🧟‍♀️

¡Los zombis han llegado a @zonadeescalofrio! ¿Me dejas comerme tu cerebro? 🧠🤤

Queridos habitantes del averno, les confieso que antes los zombis no me parecían la gran cosa, de todos las criaturas terroríficas, la figura del zombi no llamaba mi atención, incluso me parecía un poco ridícula, prefería los fantasmas, demonios u otro tipo de criaturas, pero, ¡oh!, poco tiempo después caí en la realización de que de hecho los zombis si pueden llegar a existir, más bien, ya hay personas que ya sea por virus, drogas e incluso plantas han caído en deplorables estados físicos y mentales que los han llevado a tener características similares a las que poseen los zombis según su descripción clásica. También, una de las cosas que cambio mi percepción acerca de ellos es que yo conocía a los zombis por ser aquellas personas que fueron infectadas por un virus que los enfermo, convirtiéndolos en cuerpos sin control que solo buscan alimentarse de cerebros, cuando en realidad los zombis provienen de África y parte de su cultura vúdu, la brujería, magia negra que según realizaban para hacerse con las almas de los difuntos. 👁️

Del vudú se una que otra cosa porque mi difunto abuelo paterno (que en paz descanse) cuando cumplí 18 años me regalo un muñeco vudú y me dijo que matara gente... ¡No se asusten!, mi abuelo era una persona amante del humor negro, bastante sarcástico y ese muñeco vudú lo obtuvo en New Orleans como un souvenir, ya que allá llegaron brujos vudúes y es parte de su historia. Quiero aclarar (por si acaso) que nunca he usado ni planeo usar ese muñeco, así solo sea un souvenir, yo respeto mucho esas cosas y no me atrevería siquiera a intentar perjudicar a nadie con algo así, lo tengo ahí de decoración, estático y cuidado, como algo incluso hasta gracioso de mirar. 🤪

El descubrir que los zombis provenían inicialmente de la brujería, me pareció intrigante, ya que si investigan bien, se dice que casi todas criaturas terroríficas (vampiros, hombres lobos, entre otras) fueron creadas por brujos... Simplemente curioso, sin embargo, hoy día los zombis son representados mayormente como que nacen a raíz de un virus o experimento, droga y cosas de ese estilo, lo cual no me parece tan emocionante, no se porque, pero bueno, procedamos ahora a responder las respectivas preguntas de la iniciativa. 🧐

¿Cómo te imaginas qué son los zombis?

Me los imagino como comúnmente son representados en las películas, series, animaciones y libros, cuerpos carentes de sensibilidad, deteriorados o en estado de descomposición que han sido despojados del sentido común humano, alma o esencia, ya sea por muerte natural u otra causa y que ahora solo desean alimentarse, nada más. Ya saben, comer cerebros por aquí y por allá.

¿Cómo crees que reaccionarías si vieras un zombi?

Miren, no me gustaría ver un zombi, sé que me asustaría, pero en esta ocasión no creo salir corriendo... Me asustaría por lo que sé que se supone que hacen, pero visualmente ellos no me espantan, siento que es como mirar a un cadáver en estado de descomposición y de esos ya he visto en la morgue cuando hice el diplomado para graduarme de consultora técnica en criminalística, realmente no me causa gran impresión, el olor es lo peor.

¿Cómo te imaginas que sería un apocalipsis zombi?

Pánico por todos lados, aunque, el ser humano puede llegar a ser tan raro que seguro muchos estarían felices viviendo su fantasía de invasión zombi en la que pelean contra ellos y salen victoriosos, ja, ja, ja. 😅 En general creo que sería, como lo plantean en las películas, mucho correr, encerrarse en los hogares, muertes, buscar la causa y la cura, etc.

¿Crees que en este mundo exista la posibilidad de que suceda un apocalipsis zombi?

Claro que sí, bueno, no sé si tan así como un "apocalipsis", pero sí creo que pueda suceder una invasión zombi en algún momento, posiblemente a causa de algún virus, droga o hasta experimento intencional, de hecho, como mencione anteriormente, ya hay personas que han quedado como zombis a causa de virus y drogas, como sería en el caso actual del Fentanilo, un medicamento opiáceo para calmar el dolor que se terminó convirtiendo en la pesadilla de muchos, dejando a las personas en las calles desorientadas y sin control de sus cuerpos.

¿Qué harías si descubres que un familiar o un amigo cercano es un zombi?

Si se crea una cura, intentaría conseguirla y ayudar a ese ser querido, pero si no, simplemente lo dejaría ir, ese cuerpo ya no sería mi familiar, solo una vasija que fue corrompida y que no quedo para nada bueno... Suena duro, supongo, pero creo que es una visión realista del caso, hay momentos en que simplemente hay que aceptar y seguir.

Dear inhabitants of the avernus, I confess that before, zombies didn't seem like a big deal to me, of all the terrifying creatures, the figure of the zombie didn't catch my attention, it even seemed a bit ridiculous, I preferred ghosts, demons or other types of creatures, but, oh!, soon I came to the realization that in fact zombies can exist, rather, there are already people who either by virus, drugs and even plants have fallen into deplorable physical and mental states that have led them to have similar characteristics to those possessed by zombies according to their classic description. Also, one of the things that changed my perception about them is that I knew zombies for being those people who were infected by a virus that made them sick, turning them into uncontrolled bodies that only seek to feed on brains, when in fact zombies come from Africa and part of their voodoo culture, witchcraft, black magic that supposedly they performed to get the souls of the dead. 👁️

I know a thing or two about voodoo because my late paternal grandfather (may he rest in peace) when I turned 18 gave me a voodoo doll and told me to kill people.... Don't be scared!, my grandfather was a person who loved black humor, pretty sarcastic and that voodoo doll he got it in New Orleans as a souvenir, since voodoo witches arrived there and it is part of their history. I want to clarify (just in case) that I have never used nor plan to use that doll, even if it's just a souvenir, I respect those kind of things very much and I wouldn't even dare to try to harm anyone with something like that, I have it there as a decoration, static and taken care of, like something even funny to look at. 🤪

Finding out that zombies initially came from witchcraft, was intriguing to me, since if you research well, it is said that almost all terrifying creatures (vampires, werewolves, among others) were created by witches.... Just curious, however, nowadays zombies are mostly represented as being born as a result of a virus or experiment, drugs and things like that, which I don't find so exciting, I don't know why, but well, let's proceed now to answer the respective questions of the initiative. 🧐

How do you imagine that zombies are?

I imagine them as they are commonly depicted in movies, series, animations and books, bodies deprived of sensibility, deteriorated or in a state of decomposition that have been stripped of human common sense, soul or essence, either by natural death or other cause and that now only wish to feed, nothing more. You know, eating brains here and there.

How do you think you would react if you saw a zombie?

See, I wouldn't like to see a zombie, I know it would scare me, but on this occasion I don't think I would run away.... I would be scared because of what I know they are supposed to do, but visually they don't scare me, I feel it's like seeing a corpse in a state of decomposition and I've already saw those in the morgue when I did my course to graduate as a technical consultant in criminalistics, the truth is I'm not very impressed, the smell is worse.

What do you imagine a zombie apocalypse would be like?

Panic all around, although, human beings can get so weird that I'm sure many would be happy living out their zombie invasion fantasy where they fight them and come out victorious, ha ha ha ha. 😅 In general I think it would be, as the movies portray it, a lot of running around, locking oneself in houses, deaths, searching for the cause and the cure, etc.

Do you think that in this world there is a possibility of a zombie apocalypse?

Well, I don't know that it could be an "apocalypse", but I do believe that a zombie invasion could happen at some point, possibly because of a virus, drug or even an intentional experiment, in fact, as I mentioned before, there are already people who have become zombies because of viruses and drugs, as in the current case of Fentanyl, an opioid medication to relieve pain that ended up becoming the nightmare of many, leaving people in the streets disoriented and without control of their bodies.

What would you do if you discovered that a family member or close friend was a zombie?

If a cure is created, I would try to get it and help that loved one, but if not, I would just let it go, that body would no longer be my relative, just a vessel that was corrupted and left for no good... Sounds harsh, I guess, but I think it is a realistic view of the matter, there are times when you just have to accept and move on.
