EN EL PULMÓN DE VALENCIA: Parque Fernando Peñalver y Negra Hipólita ESP/ ENG

¡Saludos queridos lectores!
Este fin de semana llevamos a mi cuñada a la ciudad de Valencia para reunirse con unos compañeros de la universidad. Mientras la esperábamos, decidimos hacer un recorrido por un parque conocido y bastante concurrido por los habitantes de esta linda ciudad: el Parque Fernando Peñalver y Negra Hipólita.
El Parque Fernando Peñalver y Negra Hipólita se encuentran ubicados en el noroeste de Valencia, Edo, Carabobo. Lleva el nombre de dos grandes figuras históricas por lo que es común hacer referencia al parque con ambos nombres juntos, en honor a Fernando Peñalver, prócer de la independencia y primer gobernador del Estado Carabobo y a la Negra Hipólita, esclava de la familia Bolívar Palacios, quien fue nodriza y segunda madre de nuestro libertador Simón Bolívar. Ambos nombres se utilizan para resaltar la importancia histórica y cultural del parque.
Este parque es uno de los lugares predilectos de los valencianos, siendo el pulmón natural de la ciudad y el lugar ideal para realizar actividades deportivas, trotar, sentarse tranquilamente a leer un libro, hacer yoga y disfrutar sanamente al aire libre junto a familiares y amigos.
Entramos al parque por el segundo estacionamiento a la altura del puente B. A unos pocos metros, vimos una escultura realizada en bronce por el artista y escultor Manuel de la Fuente, en honor a la Virgen de la Milagrosa. Este es un pequeño espacio dentro de un bosque de árboles que tiene una fuente de piedras y se encuentra la escultura de la virgen. Dicen que fue realizado para que los visitantes tuvieran un lugar en donde orar.
Más adelante, nos encontramos con un pozo que es llamado: Espejo de agua. Fue uno de mis lugares favoritos, puesto que se escuchaban a los grillos y pajaritos cantar, como también el ruido de las chicharras o cocoras. Estar ahí, definitivamente me lleno de mucha paz y tranquilidad.
Mientras seguíamos con nuestro recorrido y explorando este inmenso parque, llegamos al establo y vimos a los caballos. Nos cuenta uno de los trabajadores del parque que estos nobles animales son muy bien tratados y cuidados. A penas vi a este bebé me encantó y le tomé estas lindas fotos.
Además del bosque centenario (lugar donde está la virgencita), el establo y el pozo que les comenté, este lugar cuenta con un área recreativa para los niños, formada por un parque de tránsito infantil: Dracupark vial. Este espacio es para los niños en edades comprendidas entre los 2-12 años. Esta área es de uso exclusivo de bicicletas, patines, patinetas y carritos eléctricos con la finalidad de educar a los niños sobre las señales de tránsito, las luces del semáforo, etc... Es una mini ciudad, ya que cuenta con una pequeña estación de servicio, lo que de verdad me pareció muy cuchi.
También está el parque infantil en donde los más pequeños podrán divertirse con diferentes juegos como toboganes, sube y baja, la vieja, entre otros.
El parque cuenta con una pequeña cancha de bateo y los precios van desde los 2 hasta los 6 dólares o al cambio en bolívares (bs), es decir, por cierta cantidad de pelotas para batear varia el monto. Además, tiene una cancha de paintball. Otra de las canchas para el disfrute de los adultos y el uso es gratuito, son las canchas de básquet y futbol sala.
Si se te abre el apetito, puedes dirigirte a la zona del cafetín en donde venden tequeños, perros calientes, hamburguesas, pizza y una variedad de comida para que quedes satisfecho, como también se permite el ingreso de alimentos al parque sin ningún problema. Así que puedes pasar un día y hacer un picnic en el parque y llevar todo lo que necesitas, excepto ingresar bebidas alcohólicas, ojo con eso. También hay unos puestos muy bonitos en donde venden batidos, frappe, helados, café y postres.
De verdad que me encantó mucho este parque. Disfruté escuchar el canto de las aves, ver a las ardillas y el ruido que hacen los árboles de bambú cuando el viento sopla. Es sin duda una sinfonía natural. Abracé a un Samán inmenso y me hizo sentir feliz. El rato que pasamos mi novio y yo caminando este parque fue mágico.
Si deseas pasar un fin de semana diferente con tu familia, tener una cita o ir con amigos, definitivamente te recomiendo que visites este lindo parque que además de ser seguro, puedes realizar diferentes actividades recreativas y así, uno se despeja por completo pasando un día lleno de tranquilidad y relajación plena, siendo un plan ideal para disfrutar y pasarla chévere en un ambiente sano y al aire libre.

This weekend we took my sister-in-law to the city of Valencia to meet up with some university classmates. While we were waiting for her, we decided to take a tour of a well-known park and quite popular among the inhabitants of this beautiful city: Fernando Peñalver and Negra Hipólita Park.
Fernando Peñalver Park and Negra Hipólita Park are located in the northwest of Valencia, Carabobo State. It is named after two great historical figures, so it is common to refer to the park with both names together, in honor of Fernando Peñalver, independence hero and first governor of Carabobo State, and Negra Hipólita, slave of the Bolívar Palacios family, who was the wet nurse and second mother of our liberator Simón Bolívar. Both names are used to highlight the historical and cultural importance of the park.
This park is one of the favorite places of Valencians, being the natural lung of the city and the ideal place for sports activities, jogging, sitting quietly to read a book, do yoga and enjoy healthy outdoor activities with family and friends.
We entered the park through the second parking lot at the height of bridge B. A few meters away, we saw a sculpture made in bronze by the artist and sculptor Manuel de la Fuente, in honor of the Virgen de la Milagrosa. This is a small space within a forest of trees that has a fountain of stones and the sculpture of the virgin. It is said that it was made so that visitors would have a place to pray.
Further on, we came across a well called: Espejo de agua (water mirror). It was one of my favorite places, since you could hear the crickets and birds singing, as well as the noise of the cicadas or cocoras. Being there definitely filled me with peace and tranquility.
While continuing our tour and exploring this immense park, we arrived at the stable and saw the horses. One of the park workers told us that these noble animals are very well treated and cared for. As soon as I saw this baby I loved it and took these cute pictures of it.
In addition to the centennial forest (where the little virgin is), the stable and the well that I told you about, this place has a recreational area for children, formed by a children's traffic park: Dracupark road. This space is for children between the ages of 2-12 years old. This area is for the exclusive use of bicycles, skateboards, scooters and electric carts with the purpose of educating children about traffic signs, traffic lights, etc... It is a mini city, since it has a small gas station, which I really found very cute.
There is also a children's playground where the little ones can have fun with different games such as slides, slides, the old lady, among others.
The park has a small batting court and the prices range from 2 to 6 dollars or at the exchange rate in bolivars (bs), that is, for a certain amount of balls to hit, the amount varies. There is also a paintball field. There are also basketball and indoor soccer courts for the enjoyment of adults, which are free of charge.
If you work up an appetite, you can head to the cafe area where they sell tequeños, hot dogs, hamburgers, pizza and a variety of food to keep you satisfied, as well as food is allowed into the park without any problem. So you can spend a day and have a picnic in the park and bring everything you need, except alcoholic beverages, be careful with that. There are also some very nice stands where they sell milkshakes, frappe, ice cream, coffee and desserts.
I really loved this park. I enjoyed listening to the birds singing, watching the squirrels and the noise the bamboo trees make when the wind blows. It is without a doubt a natural symphony. I hugged a huge Saman tree and it made me feel happy. The time my boyfriend and I spent walking through this park was magical.
If you want to spend a different weekend with your family, have a date or go with friends, I definitely recommend you to visit this beautiful park that besides being safe, you can perform different recreational activities and thus, one clears completely spending a day full of tranquility and full relaxation, being an ideal plan to enjoy and have a great time in a healthy environment and outdoors.

Hola @valeryb, tremendo recorrido, es cierto es un bello lugar, casi no salgo del cafetín y esos jugos del local de madera son un lujo en sabor. En la cancha dan bailoterapia de martes a sábado, yo asisto los sábados, detrás de la cancha dan unas terapias gratuitas avalados por René Mey, toques de amor son geniales. Cada sábado asisto a recrearme, voy por salud física y mental. Es un paraíso ese lugar. Me encanta saber que eres de este estado, ojalá algún día podamos coincidir.
Saludos @lisfabian ! Ay, a mí me encantó el parque de verdad y si, ví que hay muchas actividades. Me gustó que hay un grupo de señoras y se reúnen a tejer, cantar y hacer bailoterapia jeje. Que bonito tener un lugar así en la ciudad y que esté bien cuidado.
Probé fue un café con un dulce al lado del local de los batidos y estaba muy rico. La próxima vez que vaya probaré los batidos. En realidad soy de mcy, pero a veces voy a Valencia a pasear jeje. Sería genial coincidir.

Es un parque muy bonito, se ve bastante grande, definitivamente es un lugar que provoca visitar, soy de Caracas, solo he ido a Valencia una sola vez, pero si me gustaría visitar y conocer. Gracias a ti, tengo un lugar anotado al que debería visitar.
