I am a little confused by the conflicting information regarding sources of migrants in the media. China is claimed by US media to be the source of hundreds of thousands of migrants a year, yet they don't show up in your figures at all. Weird.

I get the point. However, I was careful to point out that these are irregular migrants intercepted by Mexican authorities. That is, they are only a part of all the people crossing through Mexican territory. Indeed, Chinese are known to be "silent" migrants when it comes to their passage through Mexico. Even so, they also appear in the stats, but still below the Latin American countries I mentioned, and behind others such as Guinea, Senegal, and India. You may have seen the following video (I also recommend this report).
