Using Artificial Intelligence Without Sacrificing Human Creativity
Artificial intelligence has become one of the most transformative, creative and reliable technologies of our current time and age. Artificial intelligence has added a meaningful impact in many sectors, like writing, graphics, photography, coding, research and even in music. These are sectors that were ones controlled by human intelligence and efforts, and now artificial intelligence is taking over human efforts and even careers. This shift definitely has its advantages in our world, it raises questions and concerns, because it now seems like we humans are gaining convenience at the cost of our creativity, including our career and intelligence.

Artificial intelligence, just like every other technology in the past, has come to evolve the world. It's a technology with many significant and usefulness to the society. Throughout history, we have had different technologies that helped to make things easier and better for everyone. We have had calculators, which made people, including me depend on it when we face arithmetic problems and ignore our mental strength, down to the Internet and many other significant tools that shifted the minds of humans and now artificial intelligence, which is already gaining ground and shifting the mental strength of many of us now.
The problem is that artificial intelligence is beginning to do the thinking of many humans. We have abandoned our mental strength and now depend on artificial intelligence for things we could do before it even existed. Just a few days ago, my younger sister was telling me why her test books are becoming irrelevant, because she could easily do her research with ChatGPT. I couldn't blame her because she was being sincere, but what happened to our efforts as humans, the stages of questioning ourselves, experimenting and searching for results, making mistakes and finally getting solutions through hardwork, creative mind, intelligence and persistent. If the outsourcing of creative tasks to Artificial intelligence doesn't stop, it will cause more harm than good to many in this generation. We will lose our minds and intelligence.

On the positive side, artificial intelligence is very impactful and beneficial to humans. Artificial intelligence helps in inculcating knowledge in simple ways that would be beneficial to everyone.
With artificial intelligence, it's not so difficult to acquire knowledge of basic skills, like design, writing, entrepreneurship, and many more fields.
It helps in breaking down complex ideas and knowledge to the simplest. With artificial intelligence, creative opportunities and chances have been created for us, all we need is to learn how to utilize how to utilize this tool.
I believe the real problem isn't the tool (Ai), the real issue is our overdependence on artificial intelligence. We humans are becoming too comfortable and relaxed with this tool, thereby limiting our mental capacity.
We end up limiting our mental strength and muscles, limiting ourselves from having an independent mind, weakening personal creativity and depending on artificial intelligence.

To be balanced, instead of allowing artificial intelligence to replace our creative mind and intelligence as humans, humans should work with artificial intelligence and utilize it to expand and improve our original works.
We should use artificial intelligence to handle repetitive tasks, to organize our information, and other tasks while we continue to thrive and offer originality, vision, and thoughtful decision making to keep our brain working independently.
The fact still remains that the future of creativity and innovation will be determined by whether humans continue to nurture their ability to think independently and be creative. Technology should amplify our potential as humans and not replace our potential.
We should use AI as a tool, and not depend on it. The society needs both the human potential and artificial intelligence to function.

Our overdependence on AI is indeed the major problem. It's should be a tool that adds to our perspectives, polishes what came from our brains or help with that which we couldn't normally do. But when we forsake our mental strength in substitution for AI, it's an issue.
