Un abrazo fuerte a toda la gente de Hive y a quienes expresan sus pasiones por la comunidad de Aliento. En este post quiero hablar sobre nuestro tiempo libre y en qué podemos emplearlo.

A big hug to all the people at Hive and to those who express their passions for the Aliento community. In this post I want to talk about our free time and what we can use it for.

Para nadie es un secreto que la sociedad actual y los jóvenes tienen más oportunidades de ocupar sus ratos de ocio, algunos lo emplean en videojuegos, otros pasan su tiempo en redes sociales, salen a compartir con sus amigos y ya no se utilizan mucho los métodos tradicionales de entretenimiento que a más de uno le gustaba disfrutar.

It is no secret that today's society and young people have more opportunities to occupy their leisure time, some use it in video games, others spend their time on social networks, go out to share with their friends and no longer much use the traditional methods of entertainment that more than one liked to enjoy.

Anteriormente era común ver a los jóvenes jugar fútbol o bolas criollas en las calles, jugaban trompo, canicas y hasta volaban papagayos, sin embargo, son tradiciones que se han venido perdiendo y se le ha dado paso a la tecnología, lo cual es el mayor entretenimiento a nivel mundial.

Previously it was common to see young people playing soccer or Creole balls in the streets, they played spinning tops, marbles and even flew parrots, however, these are traditions that have been lost and have given way to technology, which is the biggest entertainment worldwide.

Debemos tener cuidado en qué ocupamos nuestro tiempo libre ya que eso puede influir mucho en nuestra manera de pensar.

We must be careful in what we occupy our free time because it can greatly influence our way of thinking.

Los videojuegos tienden a entretener, pero si no hay un equilibrio, puedes caer en el vicio y todo lo que no tiene una balanza, se termina saliendo de control. Así pasa en la vida real con cada cosa que queremos ejecutar.

Video games tend to entertain, but if there is no balance, you can fall into vice and everything that does not have a balance, ends up getting out of control. So it happens in real life with everything we want to do.

Es importante que nuestros tiempos libres escuchemos canciones edificantes, canciones que te desestresen, incluso, compartir una buena charla con tus amigos y hasta con nuestros mismos padres que muchas veces están allí y poco les préstamos atención.

It is important that in our free time we listen to uplifting songs, songs that de-stress you, even share a good chat with your friends and even with our own parents who are often there and little attention is paid to them.

¿Qué hago en mis tiempos libres?

Yo personalmente escucho música y hago ejercicios. Sí veo la oportunidad de salir en bicicleta, lo hago sin problemas, creo que la actividad física hace un excelente trabajo en la mente y me ha permitido mejorar mucho mi condición física.

What do I do in my free time?

I personally listen to music and exercise. If I see the opportunity to go cycling, I do it without problems, I believe that physical activity does an excellent job on the mind and has allowed me to improve my physical condition a lot.

También veo como un gran privilegio el hecho de tener amigos y saber que tendré un tiempo libre, busco la manera de reunirme con ellos, hablar y me motivan cada vez que me siento a entablar una plática. Son amistades que valen la pena. Eso es otra cosa que yo recomiendo, escojan muy bien sus amistades para que eso influya positivamente en nuestro crecimiento como persona.

I also see it as a great privilege to have friends and know that I will have some free time, I look for ways to meet with them, talk and they motivate me every time I sit down to have a conversation. They are worthwhile friendships. That's another thing I recommend, choose your friendships very well so that they have a positive influence on your growth as a person.
