ON MY BLOCK drama series review|Spanish coming of age tv series

In today episode of tv series reviews ,i am going to be sharing with you all a review on the “ on my block” tv series ..if you have not heard othen keep on reading...

On my block is a spanish based teen comedy drama series which was shot in southern center Los Angeles .. the narrative follows the life of four teenagers and the struggles of life in a unsafe neighborhoods mostly referred to as “the hood”. It depicts a representation of the detriment and issues of this types of rough neighborhood in the life of children and young growing adults children and how these individuals are able to navigate through the situation

              •The narrative 

the plot starts with showing the life affairs of four teenageers who initially have known each other since thier childhood days they reside in the same neighborhood and go to the same scholl too..it goes on to show how they are able to manouver thier way through the problems of the “hood” and gang members .

Caesar is a spanish teenager whose older brother oscar belongs to a gang of Spanish locals referred to as “the santos”....

Oscar is involved in the shady acts of these members “The santos” that terrorize the neighborhood even though he tries to keep his brother safe....Caesar eventually gets caught up in the troubles.

Monse is a afro-Latina teenager, and also a part of this frienship group... she is a confident strong willed young lady who was raised by her father...she has an willful personality towards life and helps her friends navigate through thier problems.

..Ruby is a young mentalist who i consider an over archiver, he comes from a Spanish household too as his parents are from “Dominica”. In the movie he has a very high mental intelligence which also helps his friends out along the way

then we have Jamal ...Jamal is an African america teenager who is often referred to as the odd kid “weird” because of his frequent exaggerated episodes of antics..Jamal is a free spirited boy who likes to joke a lot.he also always like things to go his way and can be adamant .

These four friends involve in situations connecting them to dangerous encounters with the santos and several other dangerous gang members up untill where they find a huge amount of hidden money steal which follow along with series of fall out with friends and death of loved ones .

                •My opinion 

The movies shows the reality in the challenges they experience and the lessons learned also helping them with maturing along the way and I really recommend this drama series which is suitable for both adults and coming of age individuals.
