Beans is a legume crop of different types that has for generation now been used to prepare several meals and delicacies ,and in west Africa moin-moin is one of the meals that is prepared using beans .

     •INGREDIENTS FOR PREPARATION 

*Brown beans or black eyed beans
*Tomatoes
*Crayfish
*Fresh pepper
*Onions
*Chili pepper
*Salt
*Seasoning cubes
*Black pepper
*grinned Tomatoes stew seasoning

   •STEP BY STEP PROCESS FOR PREPARATION

Firstly, i went ahead to soak the bean in cups of water and left it for 10 minutes to soak..this is done to help the beans soften so as to enble the easier removal of the skin which you would see in the next step

*after soaking type beans for 10 minutes i go ahead to wash of the skin of the beans,this takes a while to do depending on the type of the beans and this is so as to achieve skinless beans after blending

After washing of the skin of the beans and it becomes it now skinless and white, i am going to add Tomatoes, Chili pepper and Onions, i am going to blend this mixture together in a blending device...

But before blending i went ahead to soak the beans for 3 more hours...this is so that the beans soaks up water and become softer.

After 3 three hours i drained the water and rinsed well,after rinsing i then went ahead to add the already washed Tomatoes, Chili pepper and Onions, crayfish and the and a 1/2 a cup of water to blend the ingredients together

After blending i achieved and light orange pastey texture..the light orange is achieved after blending the red pepper mixed with the white beans

  • BOILING PROCEESS

Before steaming i seasoned the mixture with the ingredients listed above, i went ahead to add a spoon of salt, 1 pair of seasoning cube, dried and blended tomatoes spice, and a little groundnut oil...ps:the quantity of ingredients to be added depends on quantity of bean pudding you are preparing

*after adding this ingredients to the mixture i mixed them evenly and poured the mixture into plastic and some into cellophane and after putting them in portion i went ahead steam them in a 10 inches wide cooking pot..

  •STEAMING

To steam them i poured a cup of water into the pot .....the quantity of water measured up to an “inch high” of the wide pot...After this i placed the plastic plates into the pot and left them to steam for 45 minutes to and hour

After steaming it was finally cooked and this is the result .
