Portraits of a bride!!

The best thing about wedding photography is getting to shoot Bridal portraits.. Whenever we get hired as a freelancer or even our own assignments, most of us argue over who will go to shoot brides's pictures.. Main reason being that the bride spends hours to get ready and looks her very best on her wedding day..

The entire shoot begins with reaching at least 30minutes prior, scouting for a perfect location, testing lights and then waiting for the make up artist to give us a heads up for the shoot.. Most of the time, it's worth the wait..

Similar was the case when I got a call to be an extra photographer and the only job I had was to click portraits of the bride.. Yes, I didn't shoot a single picture of the wedding.. Just bridal shots and back home.. But the video team that arrived on the spot were creative and had better lighting knowledge and pose ideas.. I took advantage of the situation and managed to capture some good pictures of the bride..
