Once upon a time, there was a young woman named Lily who had always been a bit of a procrastinator. She was the type of person who would put off tasks until the very last minute, always thinking she had plenty of time.

One day, Lily received an invitation to her best friend's wedding. She knew she had to RSVP, but kept putting it off. Days turned into weeks, and before she knew it, the wedding was just a few days away.

Feeling guilty, Lily finally sat down to send her RSVP. But to her horror, she realized that she had missed the deadline. The invitation clearly stated that RSVPs were due two weeks prior to the wedding.

Lily felt terrible. She knew how important it was to respond on time, and she didn't want to disappoint her friend. She called her friend to apologize and explain the situation.

To her surprise, her friend was understanding. She told Lily that it was "better late than never," and that she was still welcome to attend the wedding.

Lily was relieved and grateful for her friend's kindness. She rushed to get ready for the wedding and made it just in time. As she watched her friend exchange vows, she realized that sometimes it's okay to be a little late, as long as you make it in the end.
