dCity Progress Update #2

Introduction
At the start of the year, I have shared about my decision to kickstart in dCity. Since then, I have grown significantly in SIM Power since the last update while keeping to a very lean city. So today, I will updating the progress of my city.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment. In the last update I only had 7 bubbles, but today I have 9. What is added? A soldier that my mentor wanted me to have and another is a student which is grown up from a previous young citizen that I own. Hope in the next update, there will be more.

Grow Grow Grow
Yes since then I have definitely grown, some coming from Young Citizen sales and the rest coming from daily rewards. Something that I need to do is to fill up the inactive buildings that I have owned to increase the daily SIM rewards and to further grow the city. Another one building that I need to try to look to pick up will be the Research Centre to grow my technology.

At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 88,728 SIM. This amount of SIM tokens can be either re-invested to grow the city more or simply just hold on to them.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

While I already accumulated about 88k Sim tokens in my Hive Engine, my 30 day average is still building up to the figure but I am getting a rather decent amount of liquid Hive per day due to this holdings as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.48 liquid Hive per month. Though not a big increase from previous update, I still think it is nice because as we immerse ourselves into the game, we will build up the city to yield more rewards thereby growing SIM Power and increasing the daily Hive earned. Goal can be even going towards funding the minimum requirement for Hive Power Up Day.

Upcoming Plans
As mentioned above the key is to fill up the inactive buildings with workers and also pick up a Research Centre to get the education going. I am consistently monitoring the rates of specific citizens that brings tax refund and help to boost up income daily. Closing
The SIM Power I've managed to grow in such a short duration and the liquid hive dropped daily is really something that I didn't expect when I started playing. City development has to continue to grow the city and make it a metropolis in time to come!
