dCity Progress Update #3

Introduction
Good day to everyone, a week has passed in the city and it's time to update the progress of my city and see how much it grown. Somethings have changed recently which I will be sharing in the later segment of my post.

What is dCity?
The game is a city simulator game based on Hive NFTs where one can create a city the way we want it to be. As players develop and grow their cities, optimization is needed in terms of buildings, city population, the income that the city yields and technological developments. While many aspects of the game can be calculated based on the simulator within the game, there is a portion of randomness in the form of crisis event which can bring different kind of impact to city which affects income or popularity. If you like the original SimCity, I am sure you will like this.

My City
The below screenshot is how my city looks like at this moment. Similar to my last post, total bubble in the city is at 9 but I have gained an additional 2 more students that have grown up from previous young citizens. I am still thinking what should I do with my 3 students, to wait for them to become in debt and pay them off and hope they become something good and useful for the city.

Something New
Previously in my previous update, I only had income from the dollar sign portion, but today I am seeing incoming in the airplane icon. Though not a lot, but hey, an income is an income. I look deeper, it showed War profits. And where did it come from? It came from the soldier that my friend @ryosai gave me.

There is a change in terms of war share weightage so having more cards related to war nets you more SIM income. And the solider that was given to me gives me 1 war share with a 2 SIM payout and the tax refund from it adds a further 1 SIM payout bringing the total payout to 3 SIM for this card. I will try to keep a lookout in the market to snap up more soldiers if I can or maybe my students might even pop into soldiers once I pay their debt.

Current SIM Holdings
At the moment of writing, the current amount of SIM I am holding has reached 98,561 SIM. I am continuously looking to grow my SIM Power and looking at converting some of the other coins, that I have no immediate purpose, to be sold and convert into SIM to grow my holdings in view of more liquid Hive to be obtained everyday.

Why Hold SIM?
This is reminder to all that holding SIM (or commonly known as SIM Power) brings about daily liquid hive if one having above 8000 SIM Power. SIM Power is calculated by the from the 30 days average SIM holdings.

While I already accumulated about 98k Sim tokens in my Hive Engine, my 30 day average is still building up to the figure but I am getting a rather decent amount of liquid Hive per day due to this holdings as seen below:

Assuming no increase in Sim Power, I will get 0.51 liquid Hive per month. Though not a big increase from previous update, I still think it is nice because as we immerse ourselves into the game, we will build up the city to yield more rewards thereby growing SIM Power and increasing the daily Hive earned. Goal to achieve will be going towards funding the minimum requirement for Hive Power Up Day.

Upcoming Plans
Interestingly, with the popping of young citizens the number of people remaining to hire reduced. Actually now I am a little worried because almost everyday I am seeing my young citizens becoming students, which means in the near future, they will be in debt. As such, I will need to prepare more SIM to be ready to pay off the debt without affecting my SIM Power. However, I am still keeping a look out to get the research centre to start researching technologies.

Closing
I am liking how my city is growing and hope in the near future, it might become a metropolis. While the interface is nothing fanciful, the thought behind every aspect of the game is really good.
