Hive Power Up Day - April 1st 2024: Be Wise And Don't Be A Fool

Hi all, it is the 1st of April 2024, one quarter of 2024 had just gone past us. Hope all had been well in this 3 months and you're actively participating in the various Hive communities or actively involves in the games powered by the Hive blockchain. And because of this, showing support to the Hive Blockchain is of utmost importance. And with today being the first day of the month, it is Hive Power Up Day!

I have participated in Hive Power Up Day since October 2022, the journey since then had been nothing less than awesome. I still remembered how I started with 315HP back then when I first participated in this program. From then, every month, I would try my best to take part and show my support to the blockchain. And because of the amazing community we have here, it helped me to grow with the support from everyone in the blockchain.

Hive Power Up Day, What is it?
Hive Power Up Day occurs on the first day of each month where people come together to stake their Hive to become Hive Power. Through this, our account gets powered up.

Power Up?
By powering up our account, what does it bring?

• Increase our influence in the block chain, in terms of voting power on content, witnesses and proposals
• With a much higher Hive Power, we get more curation rewards and improve our earnings.
• Passive earning of 3% per annum

Hive Power Up Month March 2024

As I was looking up hivebuzz.me for my Hive Power Up month badge for the month of March, something caught my eye:

A really pleasant surprise that have showed that I have progressed from Minnow to Dolphin. So glad to have unlock this achievement and thank you to all whom have rendered your support to me thus far.

From missing out the Hive Power Up Month for the month of February, I kept the discipline to ensure I keep on schedule to ensure I come back on track for the month of March. My growth in HP in the month of March was good and it gained me a total of 375 HP, which I really think is amazing and I couldn't thank the community more for the support.

Something seems to be not working at the time of writing where the badge had not been awarded to anyone yet. But here's my progress chart for month of March.

What an amazing month of March and I am really glad to have progressed within the community to reach Dolphin status. There are many amazing communities within Hive. Do continue exploring these communities, get involved in them and continue growing in within the blockchain!
