Hello everybody, how is everyone doing? Today I am going to share on Djinn Oshannus. This is one card that walked with me through thin and thin across many matches since I owned it. Mr reliable in my desk and a card when mana permits, will definitely appear in my lineup.

Thoughts on Djinn Oshannus

Djin Oshannus, manipulator of the waves and master of the seas.

Without further a do, let's get started with this week's sharing.
Let's look at the Level 1 base stats for Djinn Oshannus:

What does Djinn Oshannus looking on growth?
At level 1 with void, Oshannus already able to shut down many single magic damage lineups and not being damaged. Not forgetting that 2 magic damage, 5 speed and 10 health, this is one difficult piece to take down, high dodge capability and enough health to endure. At higher level, it becomes scarier with the phase ability.

With Phase, Oshannus with its high speed easily upgrades to become the nemesis of slow magic lineups. To face off against big hitters, gaining forcefield essentially make Oshannus a tank against big hitters as it will only take 1 damage from monsters with attack 5 and above.

Prediction before pressing rumble
Wow, a recipe of nightmare coming altogether. Llama, Kron, Oaken, Coeurl. Never would I have imagined facing such a lineup. Let's see how it will turn out.

Let's get ready to rumble
Round 1, A showdown between the front tanks. Both enraged with exceptional high speed but both tanks down to relatively low health.

Round 2, Coeurl fell, Diemonshark fell and resurrected but fell again due to Kron's attack. High speed of Oshannus managed to dodge attack from Uloth Dhampir.

Round 3, Oaken fell from continuous barrage. This turn Oshannus dodged one attack from Oaken, one attack from Uloth and one attack from Kron.

Round 4, Uloth Dhampir taken out, Kron triggered last stand. Oshannus will front Kron.

Round 5/6, Oshannus did a good phase dodge and also with its void, we stood up against Kron with River Hellondale landing the fatal blow to secure the victory.

After Thoughts
I am so thankful to own a levelled up Djinn Oshannus.
Against such a ferocious lineup put up by my opponent. The phase dodge and attack dodge from Oshannus ensured sufficient survivability and protected the backline for them to do what they need to do.

The triple dodge during turn 3 was pivotal and ensured my backline don't get exposed. If my Oshannus is at level 1, this match would have longed been over with the heavy magic damage from Kron and Oaken.

Magic has been something that is difficult to counter, Oshannus itself become a full suite of solution. Reducing damage taken from magic and at the same time, allows dodging of these magic attacks which in normal circumstances will be a certain hit.

Did my strategy work in this game? Initially I thought, this match would be a goner, looking at how scary my opponent lineup is. But the phase ability and high speed of Oshannus was instrumental to the victory of this match.

Will I be using Djinn Oshannus in the future? Always whenever mana permits. To be honest, Oshannus is really good and essentially my favourite card and I am certain favourite card of many others.

While Oshannus at level 1 is a beast with high health, speed and void, in today's sharing, I have showed how better it can be at a higher level after gaining phase ability.

Djinn Oshannus is a legendary reward card. My word to you is, if you do not have a copy of it, you ought to get one copy for yourself right now and bring it to level 2 to gain the phase ability. Of course, you can also opt to rent it instead of owning it. However, I still strongly urge you to own a copy of it especially the prices of it is no longer like when I first joined Splinterlands at US$15-20 dollars.
