Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (June 3 - June 8) + Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? I hope you had a good week so far. Today's post will include my account growth and also the most recent brawl report for PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update.

Same as last week the CP growth is a little low with low cards gained in the week. I am still missing of 1 life epic soul bound card alongside quite a number of the legendary soul bound cards, hope I will be able to get them soon. Key now is really to build up the SPS amount.

About 36 SPS gained last week, I think is quite a decent amount. Hope to continue gaining more next week to enable faster silver league eligibility.

Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Rare occasion that I will select Life lineup. But I put up what I had and hope for the best.

Outcome: Win. Surprisingly, Blinding Reflector held up well with the remaining range cards doing work and smashing my opponent lineup.

Nowadays I see many people also trying to pull off the martyr combo. I used my favoured earth lineup with martyr for this, will it do me good?

Outcome: Win! Quora striking the backline is becoming huge to tear down anything in her way.

Both side used Life Splinter. I chose Ruffmane in view of the armour it gives due to earthquake ruleset. Hopefully it is the right choice.

Outcome: Win! That extra armour really came in handy as I get one extra layer of protection for 1 extra turn from the earthquake.

One card I recently got fond of is Swamp Spitter. The repair it gives with its relative higher range damage is really a good card to pair with the likes of Diemonshark which is armour heavy

Outcome: Win! A good fight with Diemonshark anchoring the front and Releanor doing heavy damage from 2nd position.

A simple fight expected. I used a big tank with a sniping archer in backline to keep growing.

Outcome: Win! Strategy worked, breeze through this and Whistling Damon doing work on my opponent's backline.

I am a little greedy here, planting 2 strong Gladius in this lineup. First time I doing so, so not very certain if this is a wise choice.

Outcome: Win! Both Gladius did well and the whole lineup is very well balanced.

Similar lineup placed by both sides. I opted for Disintegrator in view of possible heavy melee while my opponent use Mycelic Infantry instead.

Outcome: Win! Quora leading the way together the rest of the utility cards.

Very even choice of cards by my opponent and I, my opponent had 2 Gladius while I only had one. I placed my stronger dragon cards to boost the overall power of the team.

Outcome: Lost. Double Gladius is not easy to handle, once they start growing, it is almost impossible to stop them.

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 8 matches this brawl, I won 7 of them and lost 1. I lost to a double Gladius lineup even when I put up a very strong lineup. Lesson learnt here is that Blood Lust is not easy to handle and 2 of it just blew the roof off the house.

Oh my, just one week ago, our guild was at the top but this week, we dropped to rank 4. We need to chalk up the wins and move back to the tops once again. Learn from our bad plays and improve from brawl to brawl. Let's pick up from where we are and charge forward. Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Rollercoaster ride it seems, nevertheless need to continue improving ourselves as brawl is a good source of SPS and with more SPS, then we can move towards higher leagues without rewards compromised.
