Social Media Challenge: Splinterlands Weekly (Mar 31 - Apr 6) + Brawl Report

Greetings everyone, how is everybody doing this week? Last week post was 1 day ahead of EOS, so in today's post, I will be covering the EOS. And with the latest town hall and update, LAND is upon us, another new milestone to the game. Today's post will be on my account growth and also share the latest brawl report for PIZZA 2.

Let's start things off with how my collection power increased since the last update.

Back to accumulation of merits after opening 8 packs last week.

A great week with many cards added especially on the summoners front. Finally after Franz Ruffmane, I have finally have minimally a copy of each Soul Bound summoner in my arsenal which is a good thing and I can utilize the Gladius cards in normal battles. Also, in the End of Season rewards, I saw a shaking chest and voila, 2 legendary cards which is 2 copies of Sorriel the Bale. Significant increase to the CP this week and I am thankful.

EOS Rewards

The rewards this time round for end of season has been real good. Sorriel is a good add to my arsenal. I am loving it especially how much value it adds to my fire lineup and the double strike magic is no laughing matter. Also in it was the 5 copies of Ravenhood Warden, something that I grew to like and call upon it frequently in my death splinter battles. The amount of merit and SPS were juicy as well. Wishing such amazing pulls will carry on to the next season.

Brawl Report
Time for some brawl action! Let's take a look look at the matches I played this brawl. As usual, I am anchoring Fray 3 for my guild which is the Novice Chaos Legion Fray, so cards will be at lowest form without additional levelled up stats/abilities.

Rule of the thumb, when you can deploy Quora, use it. I also used my usual taunt cards as well for this match.

Outcome: Win! A good start to the brawl!

Because of the lower mana, I had to manage a little without certain cards like Queen Mycelia whom usually be in the lineup when possible. But I followed my rule of the thumb, trust in Quora

Outcome: Win! Quora acing it once more, tearing lineup up one by one and growing bigger.

I took a gamble to place Quora when it maxed out my lineup based on the mana requirements. I avoided placing additional fiends in view of becoming fodder. Also, this is my first time facing Astral Entity.

Outcome: Win! One interesting thing to note, while Astral Entity resurrected my opponent's Cursed Windeku, it gave Quora to power up 2 time which made it scarier.

First time I seeing Fina Voxom. Looks like a very strong card especially it has opportunity and I fear for my fiend. Let's see how things turn out.

Outcome: Win! The reverse speed ruleset helped me secure the win with a few dodges coming from Antoid Platoon.

Now, back to basic, no blood lust no healing, but I still stick to Quora. Reason being, she has double attack in both melee and magic form, which is very viable for such matches.

Outcome: Win! Quora hanged on and tore apart much of my opponent lineup which my 2 backline hitters did their part to clear off once it reaches their turn to hit.

Easy call for this. Quora will pulverize through to get the win.

Outcome: Win! As predicted, having Quora in lineup against one that has no Gladius will be overbearing on my opponent.

Possibilus is with a team of heavy attackers is not an easy task to overcome. I fielded my best Earth Lineup to handle it.

Outcome: Win! Every single card on my lineup was instrumental to the win. Way to go!

Guild Final Tally

I am assigned 8 matches this brawl, I won 8 (1 fled), which meant that I've managed to secure wins for all that I am assigned. So glad to be able to clear the brawl with this result, all thanks to Quora whom led the charge and took down my opponents one after another.

We've improved by 1 position and back into top 3, while we haven't climbed back to the top, it is still a good improvement. Let's get better and better. Go PIZZA 2!

Thoughts about Splinterlands Journey
Exciting times are coming as Land is being released now for the game. Trading of land is now enabled and land owners can start surveying.

While I do not have land in my possession, it is something that I am considering. I might just snap some off the market. Let's see how things goes. I am excited on how we are progressing in the game and can't wait to see more upcoming releases.
