Swimming with Australian sea lions

I would like to share a video I put together from an unforgettable day in South Australia.

We were staying in Port Lincoln and booked a tour that will take us out to Blythe Island to snorkel with wild sealions.

These guys are like the puppies of the sea they are so cute and friendly.

The water was freezing but we had wetsuits on so it didn't take long to get used to the cold. But when I jumped into the water it sure did take my breath away haha.

It was so much fun swimming along side these wild seals. Diving down and flipping around it was the best!!

If you ever find yourself in Port Lincoln south Australia I highly recommend you go swimming with the sea lions! You will not be disappointed!

I filmed this on my YI action camera. I hope you enjoy the video and the song I used was from my mate Brendan Prince he makes some super relaxing music with a hand pan and flute.

Check out his YouTube page right here

Happy travels and I'll seal you later

Who wouldn't love to do that provided they are not harmful sea creatures?
For me, I will be hell damn scared to swim in this big sea.
Love the background music. It reminds me of Chinese movies I used to watch back then.

These guys are not harm full. As long as you don't try and hurt their baby's.
But it was very intimidating at first as some of these seals were bigger then me.
They didn't seem to mind us and were super playful.

I'm glad you enjoyed the background music. It's very relaxing.

Woww... This is fabulous. I still dunno how you all manage to pull this type of stunt, but I enjoy watching stuff like this.

And your camera is no joke at all. Hahah. It did a fine job.

Kudos to the swimmers out there. I can't even move a finger in a pool 😂

How amazing was that and just how privileged did you feel to able to share their space with them! 😃

It must have felt like true magic being able to swim with them like that!❤️

I just can't imagine how anyone can walk right up to them, look in their eyes and smash their heads in with a bat, especially the babies...😡

It was such an amazing day swimming with these seals! Espicaly when I would dive down and they would swim along next to me 😊 so much fun!

Man clubbing baby seals is horrific. I don't know how anyone could do that either

Looks amazing, great shots! Great to see how close they got, when I was there in December they didn't get this close but was still an awesome experience (before I got insanely sea sick so shark cage wasn't that pleasant !).
But yeah how freezing is the water !! :D

They sure did get super close!
Did you have any luck with the sharks?
We went down twice in May the first time no luck but the second time we got to see 3 different great whites it was amazing!!

We were lucky, they came quite quickly when we stopped and started attracting them. We had 3 in total and everyone got a chance to see them. It was really awesome but couldn't believe how bumpy the ride was. Really wish I'd taken anti sickness pills, 9 hours of sea sickness was no fun !
Are you posting a video of sharks too?

The sharks was such an amazing experience!! But it sure is a bumpy ride out to the neptune Islands.

Everyone on our trip got to see one aswell so it was a great day.
Yes I posted a video from the sharks but here is a link to it on YouTube 😊🦈🦈🦈 such a great day!
