Rooftop at Broadbeach Gold coast Australia
As winter is approaching we decided to get a couple of mates together and head down to Broadbeach on the Gold coast for one last weekend at the beach before it got to cold to swim.
The apartment we stayed on was right at the beach and had a great rooftop area with BBQs and a spa.
This is the view from the rooftop as the sun was about to set for the day.
It's crazy to see so many highrise apartments along the coast line. When your swimming in the ocean. In the afternoon they buildings cast a shadow over the ocean.
It feels very unnatural to be swimming the ocean in the shade.
Also the water was a bit rough and there was a strong rip in the water. While we were out body boarding a tourist got caught in a rip and was swept out the back of the waves. So my mate had to save him and the surf life saving guard came out to grab him on his long board and bring him back to shore.
A rainbow appears over the ocean as we had a light sun shower before the sun set.

So should I take photos of other people's work and write landfill? is that the standard of this community?
Can you raise your standards higher at least if your going to tell other people what to post?
