Christmas decorations for the upcoming festivities

Hi there Hive Family,

Yesterday, I decided to take a tour in Sofia center and check out some of the amenities that have been setup.

The mountain region is still a bit hectic and dangerous but I will make a hike in the upcoming days.

I passed through some emblematic buildings around the city center like Saint Alexander Nevsky Patriarch's Cathedral, National Assembly of the Republic of Bulgaria (Back view), Headquarters of Bulgarian Acadamy of Science, and the Monument to the Tsar Liberator.

This is the Crystal Garden and one of Bulgaria´s first prime ministers after our independence from Turkey.

One of the many branches of Unicredit Bulbank. In my opinion, the most evolved bank in Bulgaria.

This is the Weihnachtsmarkt or the Christmas Market. Here we can see some typical German pavilions like the Wiener Haus and Waffels Haus. It was colorful and full of people. I personal favourite is the raspberry and blueberry mulled wines. One paper cup of those is enough to keep me warm for an hour.

I visited the Russian Church where Seraphim of Sarov grants wishes to all people who ask and pray. I wrote down my wish and put it in the letters box for Seraphim. My wish was purely health related.

This is the Russian market. Junk goods reminding me of the previous communist era.

The big building is the National Palace of Culture and the Christmas Trees are part of an initiative called Kambarev Trees of talent. Basically famous companies buy those trees and the owners are actually written down the plastic vase bottoms. The money are later donated to children with special talents who do not have the means in order to fulfill their dreams.

Night gathered and the last place to visit was the Christmas Park in Boyana Cinema Center. This was the most decorated of all places that I visited for the day.

The last place that we visited was Circus Ivanov.

Stunts included ostriches, snakes, and other exotic animals apart from the high level juggling from high altitudes.
