My first experience with CUB Finance

Hi there Hive and Leo Family,

After reading a bit about the newly created DeFi staking platform CUB Finance I decided that it is only natural that I should support the project because I believe in tokenized blogging and that the people here are well educated and know what they are doing.

My interest was sparked by @erikah who in my opinion is an outstanding blogger and has decent experience. She gave me some insights on the project but I really did not know how it would turn out unless I tried. There is a saying in my country that you will probably never be ready for something big so it is always better to start unprepared than procrastinate and never start at all.

So here is what I did:

I bought half BNB token on Binance and transferred it to my Metamask Wallet. Then went to Trade - Liquidity - Swap section and calculated about 0.22 BNB to be swapped for CUB tokens so that I have 50% of both and some resting BNB for fees.

Now this would give me 2.317 Liquidity Provider Tokens which I decided to supply for the CUB-BNB Farm.

This is a picture of yesterday. The APR will fluctuate but it was close to 400% which is very good.

The next thing that I did was to visit https://howmuchismylp.com/ where based on your wallet and MasterChef address CUB Finance (courtesy to @erikah and her Leo post - Keep An Eye On CUB DeFi) you will be able to track the notorious impermanent loss happening realtime.

I started off like this. Today the picture is already a bit different:

Now here comes the question. As long as the price hovers around 175$, I am not at a loss but I see that it is not balanced anymore. Will it continue to go in favor of CUB until there is no WBNB left? What happens if I remove my LP and revert them back? Will it give me the exact tokens as mentioned in the screenshot? I guess I am about to find out the hard way but it will not happen anytime soon. I am going to monitor the progress and earn CUB for now. I will stay in this Farm for a month. At least this is my plan, and if this proves to be lucrative, I might think of investing a bigger lump next time. To be honest, I do not know what I am doing right now. Which is why I have invested relatively small amount to play with.

Based on the current APR and my LPs, I have calculated that I will be earning 0,2 CUB per 8 hours. That is 0,6 CUB per day and 18 CUB per month which is not bad. I would be close to returning my whole initial investment. This is kind of giving me hopes and enthusiasm.

It is now almost a day. I am 3 hours away from it and have already earned 0,5 CUB. This means that my rough estimation is not far from the truth and also the APR has dropped a little. Now it is 359%.

Overall, I like the experience and exposure. After all, it is somewhat entertaining to see what will happen and also I am supporting the blogging blockchain which is awesome.

Awww, how nice of you to mention me :) I'm glad my posts have sparked your interest in CUB DeFi. It's a great place, trust me.

I see you have a lot of questions, which gives me more motivation to write the post I was thinking to write today. I'm going to explain everything in my post, showcase to be more clear.

Also, don't trust me, I'm just as green as you, just been here a little bit earlier :P

On the other hand, welcome to LeoFinance and CUB DeFi, you're doing great and caught the best moment to enter that pool, you'll see why :)

Glad to hear that. Actually, you sparked my interest to start blogging on Leo Finance. I was not contemplating it but then took a look at your profile and loved the content. And then thought, why not follow your amazing example and enter the community :)
