How do I feel about being a community administrator?

This will be a conversation with all of you. I don't know how big this publication will be, but it will serve me as something therapeutic, where I sit down to write about what I think and feel, and which consequently involves you and therefore becomes a friendly conversation, so we can say, where I talk Here, I listen to you in the comments, and I absorb everything that was said. Obviously with a personal filter so as not to absorb hate, but rather constructive criticism.

This conversation is more than a conversation between Brazilians and Brazilians, because I work in the HiveBR (Hive Brasil) community, it is also a conversation with other leaders and members of other communities who have a lot to add to the debate of ideas.

The Brazilian community is just over 1 year old, this year it will still be 2 years old, and a lot has already happened, it even seems like it took much longer (which in fact it was, if we understand the community as a conglomerate of people and not just a Hive feature).

70 days ago I was given the administration of the HiveBR community to help take the direction of where it would go, and along with that a great responsibility, after all, according to the community's Discorda accounts there are another 316 people who are following everything that happens for there, and seeing everything we are building.

But I'm not alone, I'm happy to see that along with me there is a wide range of moderators and advisors within the community who help daily in the search for a better community, prioritizing the community over other things. These are people who believe in the future of HiveBR within Hive.

However, it was in practice that I learned that the community will often be ahead of my personal account. As I am in the last period of college and interning in the area, the time I have left I dedicate to answering HiveBR questions and making periodic posts that will help the community grow in the long term. As a result, I lack the will to write something for my account, because at the end of the day I just want to lie down and rest a little.

For this publication I didn't know what to write, I just knew that I wanted to write something about this topic. I like recording situations that I'm experiencing on the Hive blockchain. In these 6 years of Hive I have already recorded about 2 relationships I had, about 3 changes of city, and many other everyday life situations, even publications in which at the end of it I put my face to 'humanize' the blockchain, what will the case of this publication.

I believe that the administration of HiveBR has also opened doors for me that I believe I would not have had in other situations, due to the fact that I am the spokesperson for both good and bad things in the community, sometimes some news arrives before me, such as competitions and tournaments so I can promote it to the community.

This position that I occupy today is not definitive, after all rotating command makes us see the community from different perspectives, but I am happy to see that I am being part of something big that is being built, and putting my name in Hive's history, maybe not from Hive as a whole, but at least from HiveBR, along with many other users.

Next year I will graduate, with more time, and I believe I will be able to start implementing HiveBR projects that will take place outside the internet, always seeking to bridge the gap between online and offline. There are less than 90 days left for the year to end, for the delegation of 100,000 HP that the community received to end, and for us to look for new ways to monetize the community, including with our HBR token, which is a source of great pride for me, as we already have 50 Holders of the token.

One day I still want to sit down and release graphs and statistics about the community for those who like numbers, but at the moment I just want to thank and appreciate everything we are experiencing. I like you a lot, Hive makes me see everything from a perspective that I didn't see years ago. We are living in the future, and it is now.

Essa vai ser uma conversa com todos vocês. Não sei o tamanho que será essa publicação, mas ela servirá para mim como algo terapêutico, onde eu sento para escrever sobre o que penso e sinto, e que consequentemente envolve vocês e por isso se torna uma conversa amiga assim podemos dizer, onde eu falo por aqui, ouço vocês nos comentários, e absorvo tudo que foi dito. Obviamente com um filtro pessoal para não absorver o ódio, e sim as críticas construtivas.

Essa conversa é mais do que uma conversa de brasileiro para brasileiros, pelo fato de eu atuar na comunidade HiveBR (Hive Brasil), é também uma conversa com outros líderes e membros de outras comunidades que muito têm a acrescentar no debate de ideias.

A comunidade brasileira tem pouco mais de 1 ano de vida, esse ano ainda completará 2 anos, e muita coisa já aconteceu, até parece que foi bem mais tempo (o que de fato foi, se entendermos comunidade como um conglomerado de pessoas e não apenas uma funcionalidade da Hive).

70 dias atrás me foi passada a administração da comunidade HiveBR para ajudar a tomar os rumos de para onde ela seguiria, e juntamente com isso uma grande responsabilidade, afinal, pelas contas do Discorda da comunidade há outras 316 pessoas que estão acompanhando tudo que acontece por ali, e vendo tudo que estamos construindo.

Mas não estou sozinho, eu fico feliz em ver que junto comigo há uma vasta gama de moderadores e conselheiros dentro da comunidade que auxiliam diariamente na busca de uma comunidade melhor, priorizando a comunidade em detrimento de outras coisas. São pessoas que acreditam no futuro da HiveBR dentro da Hive.

Porém foi na prática que eu aprendi que por muitas vezes a comunidade estará a frente da minha conta pessoal. Como estou no último período da faculdade e estagiando na área, o tempo que me sobra dedico em responder dúvidas da HiveBR e fazer as postagens periódicas que irão a longo prazo ajudar a comunidade a crescer. Com isso me falta disposição para escrever algo para a minha conta, pois no final do dia só quero deitar e descansar um pouco.

Para essa publicação eu não sabia o que escrever, apenas sabia que queria escrever algo sobre esse tema, eu gosto de registrar na blockchain da Hive situações que estou vivendo. Nesses 6 anos de Hive já registrei sobre 2 relacionamentos que eu tive, sobre 3 mudanças de cidade, e muitas outras situações cotidianas da vida, até mesmo publicações em que ao final dela eu colocava meu rosto para 'humanizar' a blockchain, como será o caso dessa publicação.

Eu acredito que a administração da HiveBR me abriu também portas que eu acredito que não teria em outras situações, pelo fato de ser o porta voz tanto para coisas boas como ruins da comunidade, por vezes algumas notícias chegam antes para mim, como de concursos e torneios para que eu possa divulgar para a comunidade.

Essa posição que ocupo hoje não é definitiva, afinal rotacionar comando faz com que vejamos a comunidade por óticas diferentes, mas fico feliz de ver que estou sendo parte de algo grande que está sendo construido, e colocando meu nome na história da Hive, talvez não da Hive como um todo, mas ao menos da HiveBR, juntamente com muitos outros usuários.

Ano que vem estarei formado, com mais tempo, e acredito que poderei começar a colocar projetos da HiveBR que irão acontecer fora da internet, buscando sempre fazer essa ponte entre o online e o offline. Faltam menos de 90 dias para o ano terminar, para a delegação de 100.000 HP que a comunidade recebeu terminar, e para buscarmos novas maneiras de rentabilizar a comunidade, inclusive com nosso token HBR, que é motivo de muito orgulho para mim já termos 50 Holders do token.

Quero um dia ainda sentar e soltar gráficos e estatisticas sobre a comunidade para quem gosta de números, mas no momento eu quero apenas agradecer e apreciar tudo isso que estamos vivendo. Eu gosto muito de vocês, a Hive me faz enxergar tudo com uma ótica que eu não via anos atrás. Estamos vivendo o futuro, e ele é agora.
