Divine tea, relaxing and healthy.
When people talk to me about tea, I usually tend to associate it with health. When someone gets sick in the family, my mother immediately starts preparing infusions with any number of plants. My siblings and I call them miracle teas because they really do have a beneficial effect.
I consider myself a pretty calm person, my body can be still for a long time and nothing happens, I can go several days without leaving the house and nothing happens, but my mind has a hard time taking a break. So, in my tireless search for methods to relax my mind, I have gone through meditation, yoga, concentration on breathing, quiet listening to instrumental music and sounds of nature. All those kinds of things are very good, I like them very much and they have helped me, but when I accompany them with tea I feel it takes them to another level.
Specifically, the tea that relaxes me the most is mint leaf tea or one of the same family, such as peppermint tea. I like to accompany it with lemon and sugar. I prefer it at night or when my mind can't stop worrying. I feel that it not only relaxes my mind and body, but also my stomach, everything feels so light.
One of the things I really like about teas is that most of these can be enjoyed both hot and cold. One of my favorites to consume after being chilled, was presented by friend @davidpena21, Jamaica tea, that one in particular I like iced, as well as cayenne tea, which is a plant from the same family as Hibiscus, the resulting tea is very tasty and relaxing. Some people use it before bedtime and report a good rest.
I believe that before going to sleep it is advisable to consume hot drinks, however, I like iced cayenne tea, the same with lemon and sugar. In fact, in my teas can not miss the lemon, this ingredient adds a special flavor, and also a sweetener for those whose taste buds are accustomed to the sweet, as is my case.
When someone in the family is sick, you can't miss the infusions or the miraculous teas. One of my brothers some time ago went to spend a couple of days with my mother and he says that he arrived all bent over with a pain in his lower back and that he left as good as new.
My mom used to prepare him a tea of malojillo, lemon balm and jojoto beard and one flavor that stands out a lot is lemon balm, really all those ingredients in an infusion, with a touch of lemon juice and well sweetened, it is very delicious, hot or cold.
When I feel bad, my first choice is always going to be a tea, last night my stomach suffered for having abused the meals during the weekend and yesterday, I almost couldn't find a comfortable position to sleep. Without much encouragement, I got up and made myself a malojillo tea with a touch of mint, a squeeze of lemon and a little honey. I drank it hot and after a few minutes I really felt a lot of relief and relaxation, so, although I am an expert at sleeping, that tea made me not only sleep but do it with a relaxed body and mind.
So when I think of tea, I think of health and relaxation.

I used to drink all those teas for the same very reasons.
Your photos are lovely and the hibiscus flower is beautiful:)
I think many people drink tea just for those reasons, others really enjoy it. I enjoy it only if it is sweetened.
I'm glad you liked my photos :)
Hello friend @verdesmeralda , completely agree with you, when I am named tea unlike coffee, I associate it with health. and I prepare it only when I have some fatigue or decay. My daughters call it the miracle teas. I loved your post, thanks for sharing. A hug!🙏☕️💕
Thanks to you for stopping by and for your support. And yes, it's true that many teas are miraculous. hugs!
Wow! You know a lot of tea and that's great. Keep it up.
My mother prepares many infusions and I have learned something from her. Thanks for your support!
Wow! That's good. Usually we really get our skill or knowledge from our mother too because they are our first teacher.
I love drinking tea with lemon too , with honey is more tasty..
When I have digestive issues, headache, and other discomfort, I go for tea as well.. It is somehow comforting and relieving...

Certainly tea is very comforting and certainly with honey and lemon they become really delicious. Thank you for your visit and for your support!
The tea you prepared from Malojillo, mint and lemon act directly on the digestive system, with good reason you entered into a total relationship, to tell the truth your whole body...
How good, I think that mint and peppermint are very good for our stomach, it's like giving it a caress.
I absolutely love your photos and I love the hibiscus flower too, although I didn't know it could be made into tea. Drinking tea with lemon and honey seems quite relaxing even thinking about it, doesn't it? I'm happy the pains ended and you could feel relaxed as well. Thanks for sharing as always.🌺
Thanks to you for stopping by to leave your beautiful comment and for your support. I'm glad you liked it. And yes, that hibiscus flower, just like the one in the photo, in Venezuela we call it Cayenne, it has many external uses as a hair gel and you can also take its infusion, although it is always better to wait for the flower to complete its cycle and fall, however, this time I took a couple.
You're welcome. It was such a huge pleasure reading. And really nice of you to share as well. I've learnt quite a lot of things.
Your hibiscus plant is really lovely and I like your photography aesthetics. Tea can be taken for very different reasons and more often than not, they always perform the assigned functions.
I'm glad you liked the pictures I took. And yes, you are right, most of the time they fulfill their functions according to their properties.
Have an amazing day dear ✨
Like you, I really enjoy herbal teas, especially chamomile and star anise. Now I also drink some green tea, and although it tastes a bit strange to me, I think I'm liking it. Thanks for sharing dear @verdesmeralda. A big hug from Maracay.
Green tea has an intense flavor, however, many beneficial properties are attributed to it. As soon as I have the opportunity I will buy some. Thanks for your visit. A hug from Caracas.
