Al Sr. Scrooge, avaro y egoísta, lo visitan tres fantasmas en las noches previas a la Navidad y le hacen reflexionar acerca de su pasado y de lo que le espera en el futuro de seguir siendo en el presente tan vil y mezquino, es la historia que nos narra Charles Dickens en su famoso libro “Cuento de Navidad".

Esta semana el concurso #108 de la comunidad Ladies of Hive nos hace reflexionar y nos incentiva a emitir mensajes positivos que pudiesen traer esos fantasmas a "todos los Scrooges" que pudiesen andar por allí en cualquier lugar.

Mr. Scrooge, greedy and selfish, is visited by three ghosts on the nights before Christmas and they make him reflect on his past and what awaits him in the future if he continues to be so vile and mean in the present, this is the story told by Charles Dickens in his famous book "A Christmas Carol".

This week's Ladies of Hive Community Contest #108 makes us reflect and encourages us to send out positive messages that could bring those ghosts to "all the Scrooges" that might be out there anywhere.

Conocer el pasado de una persona nos puede ayudar a comprender el porqué de muchas de sus actitudes y su manera de enfrentar al mundo, no justificar, sino con mirada objetiva mostrar un poco de empatía y compresión para evitar caer en juicios que muchas veces nos hace olvidar que todos erramos como seres humanos.

Se me ha ocurrido la idea de que los fantasmas de Scrooge nos visiten a todos, pues seguro hay muchas cosas del pasado que sanar y mucho presente que mejorar para juntos crear un mejor futuro en la medida de lo posible, de acuerdo a las cosas que están a nuestro alcance.

Knowing the past of a person can help us to understand the reason for many of their attitudes and their way of facing the world, not justify, but with an objective look show a little empathy and understanding to avoid falling into judgments that often makes us forget that we all err as human beings.

I have come up with the idea of Scrooge's ghosts visiting all of us, for surely there are many things from the past to heal and much present to improve in order to create together a better future as far as possible, according to the things that are within our reach.

Nuestro Yo Superior sería el encargado de transformarse en esos fantasmas que vienen a mostrarnos aspectos de nuestro pasado, nuestro presente y futuro que pueden a ayudarnos a mejorar nuestras vidas y por consiguiente mejorar la vida de quienes están en nuestro entorno.

Ese ser sabio y elevado que todos llevamos por dentro, ese ser que tiene toda la sabiduría, la bondad y la compasión, pero que se olvida fácil por tanto ruido mental,por tantas distracciones en el mundo material, haciéndonos mirar nuestro pasado para perdonar todo aquello que no hemos perdonado, sea de nosotros mismos, de otros hacia nosotros o de otros hacia otros, la falta de perdón trae resentimientos que se reflejan en gran medida en nuestra manera de ver la vida y de relacionarnos con los demás y el entorno.

Our Higher Self would be in charge of transforming itself into those ghosts that come to show us aspects of our past, present and future that can help us improve our lives and consequently improve the lives of those around us.

That wise and elevated being that we all carry inside, that being that has all the wisdom, kindness and compassion, but that is easily forgotten by so much mental noise, by so many distractions in the material world, making us look at our past to forgive all that we have not forgiven, whether from ourselves, from others towards us or from others towards others, the lack of forgiveness brings resentments that are reflected greatly in our way of seeing life and relating to others and the environment.

No hay dudas que la parte más difícil es mirar hacia el futuro pues es incierto, aun no existe y no sabemos en gran medida lo que nos depara, sin embargo, sí podemos construir con buena probabilidad al menos un futuro lleno de hermandad, solidaridad y armonía en nuestro entorno más cercano, pues no cabe duda de que quien siembra cosecha y que de la calidad y cantidad de semillas dependerán los frutos. Seguro ya todos hemos oído hablar del Efecto Mariposa y de este es fácil deducir que tan solo un pequeño cambio en las cosas que hacemos puede significar un resultado totalmente distinto, entonces si nos enfocamos en la hermandad, amabilidad, generosidad, empatía, benevolencia, dadivosidad, nobleza... con total certeza estaríamos construyendo un mundo más feliz y armonioso, haríamos sentir muy bien a otros y a nosotros mismos.

There is no doubt that the most difficult part is to look to the future because it is uncertain, it does not yet exist and we do not know to a large extent what it holds for us, however, we can build with good probability at least a future full of brotherhood, solidarity and harmony in our immediate environment, because there is no doubt that he who sows reaps and that the quality and quantity of seeds will depend on the fruits. Surely we have all heard about the Butterfly Effect and from this it is easy to deduce that just a small change in the things we do can mean a totally different result, then if we focus on brotherhood, kindness, generosity, empathy, benevolence, generosity, nobility ... with total certainty we would be building a happier and harmonious world, we would make others and ourselves feel very good.
